The salon is out of her house, but has a separate entrance and she is fully licensed. She could be living in any big city, charging astronomical prices and working with the rich and famous, but instead charges small town prices. She is pretty flexible with scheduling, too.

Kim is the owner of this salon and she did my hair extensions and they were AWFUL!!! I had never…read morehad hair extensions before so I did not know any better the first time around. Kim claims to be a professional at this but she has no idea what she's doing and she does a really really bad job. Kim also lied to me multiple times about the price. I have a screen shot in my many pictures of her telling me that the hair will be between $300-$400 and then to put in the extensions the first time will be $125. I paid Kim $500 upfront and then after she put my hair in she charged me $250 NOT $125. The hair cost $380.99, Kim directly sent me a link to pick out the hair color and length, and then later when I told her I was unhappy with her work, one of Kim's complaints is that she supposedly gave me her price on the hair and that she lost money there. So Kim was mad that she couldn't raise the price on me, but Kim is the one who told me where to look at the hair. So I paid her $500 the hair was $380.99= $119.01 left of my money. Let's say shipping was even $30 and Kim ordered me a brush that's about $12 =$77.01 left. Kim said she has to order the string and beads. But I doubt they cost $77.01. So where did the rest of that money go??? I never saw a detailed receipt and then I had set aside $125 for the implementation based on what Kim text me and then she charged me double with no explanation or description. Kim told me after that she charges $100 an hour and claimed that it took her 3 hours because I made it take that long because my head was hurting. Actually Kim was training a girl and kept stopping to talk to her co-workers. My head was KILLING me while she was putting them in but I told her to just do her thing. I never had her stop or told her to slow down. Then later Kim also claimed that she charges $100 per row and that she gave me a major deal. In my opinion Kim lied, and lied and lied to me and super screwed me over! Besides the money and cost, the job that was done was AWFUL! Kim put very tiny amounts of hair in the beads so it was painfully pulling every second they were in. There was also very messy uneven beads everywhere and a lot of them were not even sewn to the hair extensions. While Kim was putting them in, it was EXCRUCIATINGLY painful. It felt like she was sewing them into my skin. The very first night a bead broke off right in front and Kim acted like it was no big deal. The very first day I had to sew it back on with just my cotton thread and my sewing job lasted until I had another lady redo my entire extensions which was 3.5 weeks later. With in 10 days 5 beads broke off. Within 3 weeks a total of 7 beads broke off, the bottom row had slide way down and Kim had sewn a row right on top of another row on my left side and that came undone and was hanging off. Kim says she guarantees her work, which is great however she is 45 minutes away from me which is not her fault but ultimately I choose not to go back to Kim for any fixes is because I realized that she had no idea truly what she was doing. Within 3 weeks I would have had to go back to Kim for a repair a total of 9 times. I called around to many salons and told them my situation and everyone said this kind of thing should NEVER happen this extreme. And that a bead or two will break off only every once in a while. My new hair girl said it was the WORST hair extension job she had ever seen. My new hair girl took all the beads extensions out that Kim had done, and completely redid the whole job in an 1.5 hours and it didn't even hurt and they look and feel AMAZING! After my new hair girl did my extensions they feel so secure and they are not painful to lay on at all, as you can see from my pictures the new hair girl did bigger sections of hair in the beads which makes it feel so secure and then it's NOT painful. As you can see now it's so straight, even and organized. It's been 4 weeks and no problems. I took my complaints to Kim but all she did was argue and be rude back to me. Awful customer service and anyone can see from these pictures the difference in the work.
