I just wanted a cut, no shampoo as I had just washed it that morning and decided later to get a hair cut. They didn't tell me it was still going to be $24, otherwise I would've just let them do it! They call it a "makeover package ". They used to have a sign at the entrance telling you how much a basic cut started at. Now there's nothing. I asked Cassidy about the cost after I looked at my receipt and she told me it's corporate. So I called corporate 7/24/19 to which they took my info and told me a name of a supervisor that would call me back. Nearly a week and nothing. I was given an appointment with Jenn, who is just wonderful. Friendly and personable, she's also quick and very skilled. She cut my hair exactly how I described the last few times I've gone, and I always leave loving the result. Hair Obsession is not expensive by any means. $25 will get you a wash, cut, and blow dry. I was paying $40 at my previous salon, so this is a great savings for me. The salon has recently been remodeled, so almost everything is brand new. I went onto Yelp and found a great review about Cabel Salon and I made an appointment right away with Summer. I have been back 5 times and this is now my permanent salon. The salon is small, but beautifully decorated/renovated. It is very clean with beautiful stations. The owner does a wonderful job at making her salon look updated and modern in this small town. My hairdresser, Summer, I would recommend to every girl who wants their hair to look great but does not feel like shelling out $200+ in Boston every 6 weeks. She is young and pretty and has a great haircut herself. She takes the time to listen to what you want and clarify any questions she might have. She is friendly and you get the feeling that she is really going to take the time on your hair to do it right. When it is all done she'll ask you if there is anything you don't like or want fix and she'll go right in and fix it for you. You don't have to feel like you have to leave the salon without your hair the way you want it. The prices are amazing! I get a full-foil, trim, and eyebrows waxed for about $85! Plus, she doesn't simply blow dry your hair, she styles it beautifully with a straightening iron or curling iron and you leave there feeling great!
