I am waiting 2 weeks for one, one that was sent 5 days ago is showing on the account but is still on route. The other sent 2 days ago is nowhere to be seen. An Post far quicker....carrier pigeon probably even quicker....very disappointed Tracking IDs are used by companies but not so much by individuals so its hard to trace....I think I will quit while ahead and cancel account

Instead of providing refund they stole more money from my card without any authorisation! No reply to emails, nobody answers the phone. Thieves! I rang MBE, whose Golden Pages ad. mentions the courier in question, and got full, concise instructions, and some sympathy for my complaint with the international firm besides. I'll certainly bear them in mind in future on the strength of this generosity. (Don't know about the international concern, though.)

I don't travel light. I don't know whether it's something that could be cured by therapy...but a…read moretendency to want to keep things "just in case" carried over to my move to Canada. I really didn't want to move for 2 years with whatever I could fit into 2 bags so started looking into shipping services to bring a few boxes. In a way, I wanted an awkward amount of stuff-more than an extra bag, but not half a shipping container. I researched a few companies but eventually came down in favour of Putra Venture and I was glad! -They had the best price for the amount of stuff I had...and it was to be sent by air freight making it much quicker -They were easily contactable by email-I was able to sort out a quote and submit all my documentation to them before collection. It's a lot easier to sort out measurements and totals on paper like that. And I appreciated not having to make/take calls in work -They offer the option to buy boxes and packaging material from them and will drop the boxes to you -They will also provide a complete door to door service. Unfortunately free collection in Dublin is only on Sundays although the rates for collection are pretty reasonable and they also will collect anywhere in the country for a fair rate. Because I was trying to save a bit of money and wasn't free on the Sunday before I left, I asked if I could drop my boxes to them. I was given the address of one of the drivers. It wasn't huge fun loading the boxes into a hatchback..but it was my choice! I arrived to the address and he came out to meet me and helped with the boxes. He was very friendly and weighed them all before loading them on the truck. I signed the receipt and drove away! I think it took a total of 2 weeks for the boxes to get to me in Canada...and it was all trackable by UPS. They had clearly labelled all the boxes with my address. One of them had a customs check...but it would seem that a box of worn clothes and size 3 (UK!) shoes really wasn't that interesting because it wasn't touched. I'd quite happily recommend Putra Venture for shipping. It was quick and very easy. Plus much cheaper than lots of others!

As a student studying in Dublin, I became interested in their service as I thought they offer a good value for their shipping. I had a lot of things that I wanted to ship back, including food, clothes, etc.. back to my home country, Malaysia. Therefore it was important for the estimated shipment period back to Malaysia to be accurate as I had already calculated according to the expiry date of the food. I shipped my boxes in June and was awaiting for more news in August. It was predicted that it would take about 10 weeks to reach its destination. I waited. August arrived. No news. I became worried and contacted them via email. No reply. Finally, when I took steps to contacting them directly via Facebook, they replied, "We were not able to include your parcel in the July shipment as it was already full with parcels that arrived prior to your parcels. We operate a first in first out policy.". W-WHAT? This would have been acceptable if I had received a short notice, but I did not! So, desperate to just receive my delivery, I waited for it. It came at the end of October. GUESS WHAT IS THE SURPRISE? The parcel came at 11pm in the middle of the night when everybody in my house was asleep! WOW. At this time I was already studying overseas, so I had to trouble my parents to collecting the parcels for me. Again, this would have been okay if there was a short notice. But I was not given one! In the end, I wasted my money, I couldn't use the food that I shipped back. A waste of effort (packing them into the boxes was hard enough) and money. Putraventure definitely offers a good value, but it's not exactly what I would call 'cheap'.
