I'm actually confused by the reviews below, well each to there own!
I hired Hanley's to carry out a relocation from my home in Blackrock, County Dublin to San Diego CA. I sent my goods as what they call "Part Load", this basically means that my stuff was in a 40ft shared container.
2 weeks after my belongings were collected in Blackrock I received my shipping waybill by email. This had all the info i needed! Tracking number, time of arrival, shipping agent on the other side etc..
My furniture was collected from my residence in Blackrock, Dublin was collected 02/06/2012, the container left on the 16/06/2012 and arrived into the port on 30/06/2012. It then took about 10 days until my stuff was ready for delivery.
The guys how who actually done the job were honestly the nicest bunch of people i have ever met within the removal business! All very professional, smartly dressed in full uniform and extremely polite. From experience most company's don't care about you, your family or your furniture, but Hanley's were different. Everything moved at our own pace and there was no rush or hassel through out the day.
I was told that on the day of the removal the guys would arrive between 9-10am, lone-be-hold there they were outside my house the 8:55 ready to go. Now keep in mind i'm a Mum of 3 young children all under the age of 7, they were running around and basically just being kids but the movers just got on with the jobs with no complaints!
One the day they had these little portable cardboard wardrobes which were brilliant for all of my more expensive dresses and coats. Every singly item of furniture was wrapped in a soft cushion material and all my delph/pictures etc. were rapped with bubblewrap/paper.
I honestly cannot fault Hanley's, they guys were brilliant & the office staff were so efficient and helpful. Defiantly a 10/10, i would 100% recommend them to anyone.
