They helped us with assuring that…read moreshe successfully became potty trained, which was one of the first and major milestones for her while she was at the school. We are super grateful and feel so fortunate that our daughter was able to learn tremendously in so many ways and grow healthy at Creative Child. We miss all the teachers, staff and Director at Creative Child, so much. It was mixed emotions for us when our daughter finished her education and time at Creative Child - we were excited and thankful to see how much she had grown and was ready for the next stage but also very sad to have to say goodbye to all her teachers and staff and friends. At the beginning it was challenging, as it is for most parents, to drop off our daughter at preschool for the very first time. However, our worries and anxieties pretty quickly faded away and were replaced with peace of mind, gratitude, and excitement, as we got to know all the teachers at Creative Child, and observed how much our daughter was learning and growing. All the teachers, staff, and Director at Creative Child are very professional, patient, friendly, warm, and loving. We genuinely felt the warmth, care, and love that they had for our daughter and other children. Our daughter felt equally the same. As she grew and further developed her language ability, she would tell us how much she liked her teachers or what they taught her; she also often came home excited and shared her drawings or other art she created. At school, when we dropped her off, picked her up, or at school events, we saw how our daughter interacted with her teachers and sincerely appreciated the thoughtfulness, kindness, and caring attention they showed to our daughter. We regularly received communication and photos from the teachers so we can see the highlights of the day, the learning and fun all the children experienced. The whole school environment - the classrooms, backyard, and overall details and spaces throughout Creative Child, are all intentionally and carefully designed to be safe, conducive to learning, developmentally appropriate, and support the children's academic and socio-emotional growth. Our daughter has dietary restrictions, and we did not have to worry about them accommodating and supporting her dietary needs. They even provided dietary accommodation for us and our other older daughter during special school celebrations and events. The school regularly organized and hosted various special fun and meaningful events to celebrate holidays and showcase the learning of our children. For example, two of the special celebrations we enjoyed so much, included -1. Christmas concert where all the children prepared and worked together to sing traditional Holiday music, and 2. Arts Show Case where all children carefully guided by teachers, created a variety of art that they beautifully displayed throughout the backyard on a Saturday morning with delicious food and drinks, for parents and other family to enjoy and be proud and also for families to socialize with one another and the teachers. Overall, our daughter grew significantly at Creative Child, which became like another home for her, where she made friends, learned a new extensive vocabulary from all the academic instructions and guidance (e.g., many books they read to them, creative activities, imaginary and cooperative play, and overall peer social interactions). Additionally, our daughter gained self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-regulation skills. We feel we worked together with the Creative Child family to raise our daughter and they, like us, worked hard to make sure she was safe all the time, learned extensively, was happy, and grew healthy - physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. We cannot express fully how grateful and blessed we feel for being able to have our daughter grow up at Creative Child, to experience some of the most important formative years of her childhood in a richly stimulating and safe environment and with fully competent, compassionate, and dedicated early childhood educators. We formed special and beautiful memories (including a collection of so many great photos) from her time at Creative Child and will forever carry them with us.

I hope this review helps other parents new to the area see what a gem this school has been for busy parents like ourselves. First is the schedule. Drop-off starts earlier than most other schools in the area, and pick-up is any time before 6pm. This translate to tangible flexibility for two working parents. We'd heard about, and experienced, other preschools with shorter hours that even take weeks off for spring and winter break like the public school calendar. Believe me when I say I'm eternally grateful we never had to manage those schedule gaps with Creative Child. Next is the physical space. The school itself feels like a home, each room beautifully decorated and cozy. The school yard is huge, with swings, slides, and a sandbox. Whenever we visit, my daughter is running and jumping through the yard with her friends like it's her own personal jungle gym. There are also add-ons we could opt into throughout the week. My daughter looked forward to Tuesday tap dancing every single week, along with Mandarin and My Gym classes. These are activities right on campus during school hours. Outside of school hours, we even got to invite her grandparents to her tap recital, and it turned into such a great family bonding moment. Creative Child doesn't feel like just a place to drop off your kid. I appreciate how intentional they are about pulling parents into the experience all year long. I did a mechanical bull ride with my daughter on Father's Day. We built gingerbread houses together during the holidays. The summer calendar get even better with magician, petting zoo, splash days, and more! The teachers are superstars here. The school is intimate enough that the teachers are familiar to all the kids, even if they're not the primary instructor for their class. So as my daughter moved up each year, she was never meeting anyone brand new, just a familiar face she hadn't had as her main teacher yet. Ms. Denise, Ms. Annie, Mr. Viet, Ms. Sharon, Ms. Susan, Ms. Jessica and Ms. Giselle all became familiar to her over the years, and I think that consistency built so much of her confidence. My daughter had trouble pronouncing her "s" sounds early on, enough that we got a professional consult just to be safe. Once she started in the Imagineer class with Ms. Denise, her speech noticeably improved week after week. I felt like she's already performing at a kindergarten level even though she's not even at that age yet. And the food deserves a mention. Ms. Rosie runs the kitchen, and she's a magician. My daughter won't touch oatmeal at home, but somehow cleans her bowl at school. We joke that we need to steal the recipes from Ms. Rosie someday, because the quality of meals in the public school system isn't even close in comparison. Lastly, getting to know the other families in our cohort made it clear we'd landed somewhere special. So many families here are rooted in the local community, and I learned so much just from talking to other parents, tips on neighborhood activities, what to expect once public school starts, from families with older siblings already there. Those are the invisible benefits nobody tells you when searching for a preschool. We definitely got more out of the school than what we paid for. Creative Child gave us the school part and the community part, and we're genuinely going to miss it when she finally graduates and enter the public school system. Creative Child Arcadia simply exceeded our expectations in every way!

Throughout every stage, she grew academically, socially, and emotionally thanks to the incredible teachers and structured curriculum. Although she missed the first‑grade cutoff by 4 days, her new public school offered an assessment -- and because of the exceptional teaching and learning at AIP, she passed the assessment and was approved to move up to first grade. As a parent, I felt genuinely sad when it was time to leave AIP. I truly wish they had an elementary program because the teachers and curriculum are exceptional. We absolutely love all the teachers there -- every single one played a meaningful role in my daughter's growth. We always felt she was in a safe, caring, and inspiring environment. The good news is that our younger daughter will be turning 2 next year, and she'll be joining the AIP family too. Highly recommend!!!

Our child has since graduated and moved on to elementary school, but still talks about and misses the teachers all the time -- that says everything about how loved and cared for they felt there. We're truly grateful for everything they did. Highly recommend!

In the beginning, our son (18-month old) had challenges being with a group of friends and Mr. Dave, Ms. Ranum, and teachers had so much patience and positive attitude working with my son to overcome it. They assisted with the potty train process which helped us so much. The school also handled Covid situation well, and we never had to worry about it. Our son enjoys his time here. He makes good friends and he loves all the teachers from three different age classes. This place makes our parenting life to have one less thing to worry about. Our child began with major separation anxiety, but thanks to the teachers who stuck by her side, she began dancing and having fun in as little as four days and the crying at drop-off stopped after 2 weeks, at which point she began to run inside to be with her teachers and friends. The facility is very clean, safe, and built with growing kids in mind. They have a really good curriculum and great activities in each classroom. In the toddler class (ages 18-36mo & where our child was) they have a 6-to-1 child/teacher ratio. If I had to complain about one thing, it's that I wish we could get more photos/videos and updates throughout the day, but since I also don't want the teachers on cell-phones all day long, it's an okay trade off knowing that our kid will come home happy everyday and sometimes with cool art projects in hand! The staff also does a great job notifying us of any incidents (booboos, bites, runny noses) that need our immediate attention or knowledge. They have a good, effective covid policy in place too and if I'm not mistaken only one child tested positive for covid since the pandemic began, but the child stayed home and quarantined. The entire school/staff was then dismissed to get tested and the results were all negative. To protect everyone, they check everyone's temps upon arrival and they won't hesitate to send children home for high temps or any covid-like symptoms. I would highly recommend anyone to come here, especially if it's their child's first school. They do a wonderful job.

Every single teacher here is exceptionally nice, patient, and genuinely invested in the children's growth. What we love most about the curriculum is the perfect balance it strikes: Strong Academics & Creativity: They have an impressive academic foundation that fully prepared my son for his next big step into elementary school, but they always keep it full of creativity, imagination, and fun. Endless Activities: The school keeps the kids engaged with a wonderful variety of activities that brought out the best in my son's curiosity. Amazing Care: As a parent, peace of mind is everything. The school safety is top-notch. Plus, it is incredibly convenient that they provide two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch every day, which my son loved. Both of my kids have attended since we moved here, and we've had such a great experience. Ms. Tarita was especially helpful when it came to potty training my youngest. We worked together and were able to get him fully potty trained in just three weeks! As a parent, you know how challenging potty training can be, so having that extra support made such a big difference. Ms. Alma is also an amazing teacher. She helped my son learn to write his name, recognize his alphabet and colors, and count to 20. By the time he transitioned to elementary school, he was actually ahead of his class in many of those areas. I also love that they send pictures every day, so you get to see what your child is doing and stay updated on their day. During the summer, they plan lots of fun activities for the kids as well. Most importantly, Planet Preschool provides a fun, caring, and safe environment. As a working parent, having peace of mind knowing your kids are safe, happy, and learning while you're at work means so much. We're very grateful for the teachers and our experience here!

The entire staff is incredibly kind. Every single person, from the front office to the classroom, greets you with warmth and genuine care. But what has moved us most is the patience and thoughtfulness the teachers bring to each child. They don't just teach to a group; they take the time to truly understand each child's personality and meet them exactly where they are. One of our children is highly sensitive, and we were honestly a little nervous about how he'd navigate the preschool environment. The teachers embraced him completely; they were endlessly patient, consistent, and nurturing with him year after year. That kind of attentiveness is rare and means the world to a parent. The growth and independence we've seen in both of our kids has been remarkable. They've blossomed into confident, curious little people who are genuinely excited to learn and so much of that is thanks to the incredible foundation built here. We also cannot overstate how trustworthy and reliable this school is. Drop-off and pick-up always feel safe and organized, communication is always clear, and we've never once had to second-guess leaving our children here. There is always an open line of communication between us and the staff/teachers and they never make us feel like we are burdening them with questions. Not only do they continue to help our daughter grow and give her the personalized attention she needs in class, on the playground, in daycare. But they have gone to the whole way to the mat for her to advocate for the essential services she will need to continue to learn and grow. Our daughter may well be stronger and even safer years after she graduates from AMS because of their limitless advocating for her. Separately, our daughter is now communicating at what an independent assessment has said is a level 1.5 years above her age group. And she's an increasingly confident and determined little person. Someplace else, she might be reciting more things by rote or I don't even know what skill someone might need a toddler to have. Instead, she can and will tackle anything. It just doesn't occur to her there's something she can't do. They are an enormous part of that. And just great partners in all aspects. I'm a better mom because I know them. Arcadia Montessori school is not just a school of magnificently talented, dedicated and kind people. They *love* their students. They advocate for and protect kids way beyond what one could reasonably expect from anyone other than immediate family. They just bring tears to my eyes - more than I'd like to admit! And just yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter who otherwise has deep separation anxiety said - mama, can you come back a little later?

This review is purely based off of my tour and the vibe I got. I had toured quite a few schools before enrolling my son in another preschool near our house (which we love). There were Montessori (both AMI and "inspired") schools, a posh school located in a rather affluent part of town, full immersion schools (Spanish/Mandarin). After touring so many schools, I had to say the most important thing for me is the teachers'/director's "vibe" and how well I think they will care for my child. This ain't a cram school for college. I don't need my kid to come out SAT style scoring a 1600 (or whatever the next "perfect score" will be). They need to be well cared for by loving care providers. And Playfactory had just that. Granted it was only a tour - but you can learn a lot about a place just during a thirty minute interaction. At some places I toured - kids were left crying by themselves with NO ONE checking in on them. The teachers were all there, seeing them cry, and did nothing. I really don't care if they teach Calculus, this is not acceptable. That was a hard no for me. At some other places, the director acted like my kid would be guaranteed a Harvard admission spot and sending them anywhere else would result in a detriment in their learning and development. We all know there are various ways of teaching and fostering learning. There is no one single way. I would not want my kid in a place where people think their way of doing things is superior. Hard pass. Come Playfactory - I had such a relaxing feeling the moment I spoke to Ms. Tammie. There was a girl who was crying for mom. Ms. Tammie knew her by name, crouched down and told her "I have a feeling it's almost mom time". She stopped crying immediately. When I came by the 2 year olds' classroom, this was after official school time was over so the kids were all independently playing, but they were all happy, calm, and their teacher was just around the corner prepping some stuff but always keeping an eye on them. All the teachers I interacted with were kind and seemed to not be overworked. For faculty - Playfactory gets an A+ from my tour. I also love how they have a HUGE play area. It was amazing, almost like Lacy Park vibe, which is really hard to find in most preschools. The kids do tree planting and care for their little gardens. It's the cutest thing. I am still a bit sad we didn't get to try Playfactory - not that we don't love our current school, but really the only factor that held us back from PF was the distance. I still recommend all my friends who live in the Temple City/Arcadia area to check them out.
