We went to ATandT and Best Buy and then finally here. I was getting estimates on how much to repair my cell phone. Apparently, it was just the screen although Best Buy did leave it open once they diagnose it, it may cost more than the 200. original estimate. AT and T where I bought the iPhone didn't even have techs to fix it. Best Buy was booked for the next two days and had to wait for the Apple tech and not the Geek Squad. So I remembered a place I went to last time in Brentwood's little shopping mall. This place fixed it in 20 minutes! Did it for almost 1/3 of the other estimate. I fixed two phones and looked brand new. They were so great that I bought the covers too to give a small business some business during Covid times where most businesses are struggling I am sure. It saved me a couple of thousand dollars from buying a new iPhone which I was dreading or at least 600.( total estimate from Best Buy for 2 cells)! So I am happy, I paid 1/3 of the Best Buy estimate. It made me a bit nervous going to a small place as opposed to a big box store, but they did a great job! Plus I could observe them fixing it whereas the big box store takes it away to fix and you don't know if info can be compromised! So I liked this much better! Very nice place and friendly staff! Afterwards, I went to check other reviews and was surprised. They did say it was different ownership than before because I mentioned I went there before and they were different people from what I remember. So maybe go by the newer reviews. But also always go by your own gut feeling when you go to a store- I took the chance compared to the other places I went to( mainly because of the price and convenience and that he fixed it in front of me), andI am happy with the outcome! read more

Fast and cheap, but you get what you pay for. Replaced iPhone X screen in ten minutes for $87. Yay! Screen malfunctioned three weeks later. Boo! Kept receipt and came back for a replacement. First - they accused me of dropping it. Pulled off pristine screen protector to show ZERO damage underneath. Then - they stated only a SEVEN day warranty, and refused to fix their faulty hardware. Went to more reputable shop that had a ONE YEAR warranty, and they were dumbfounded at the hardware (screen) that Smart Tech Ready tried to use for a repair. Checked out this spot today. I had no idea they sold everything from massage guns to pop sockets. Decided to get my cracked screen fixed on my phone. It was super quick and now my phone works great. My only complaint is the kids asking prices for the different phone cases. They obviously were not buying any but each time the Clerk would stop working on my phone and calmly repeat to the kids $15 $25 or more they vary. I would recommend calling if your put off by a locked door, looks like a one man show and cell phone repair could take 30 min to an hour. read more

Honestly, I had a wonderful experience today. I called this morning, immediately after the store had opened (10:02am), to ensure they could replace the screen and battery in my iPhone. I was quoted a price and was told that there were a few jobs in front of mine and so it would take a bit. Arrived at approximately 10:30am and was greeted by Ayesha. I discussed with her what I needed done, filled out some paperwork, and expected to pickup my phone around 12:30pm. 11am, my house phone rings to let me know that my iPhone was ready for pickup. Screen looks great! No issues whatsoever. I would definitely go back for repairs again, if the need were to arise! read more

Literally the worst experience ever, put my phone screen on terrible and It started to crack from me holding It and would not replace even though It was obvious the screen cracked from poorly placing of the screen protector Update 6/24 Replaced phone screen started chipping away, now my phone is exposed in the corner and is starting to glitch. When I first walked in they asked why I was in the store. Their items are cheap. My friend grabbed a speaker looking to buy it when it broke. The worker became very upset with my friend, he proceeded to hang over us and ask what we were going to buy. I wasn't ready to buy a $100 speaker because I was only looking so I could know what I want. He constantly asked what I was going to buy bugging me and bugging me. He then proceeded to ask us to leave as the other worker asked us to clear our pockets thinking we were stealing. read more

I have a new battery, screen and screen protector on my iPhone for a fraction of what I would have spent on a new phone and they did the repairs while I shopped. This tech place is SuperB! I got fixed my SE phone's homebutton, which have been damaged by other repair place, they disagreed though as well as denied to refund my money..... I just threw out on them....Ughhh! Now, got the best service ever from Smart Tech Ready. The shopkeeper patiently listen me and solved the prb. with very flexible cost and good quality part! Around 20 mins had been taken to resolve it, can you imagine! But one thing very disappointing is the website of this place is not updated with their all of the aesthetic products: eye-catching uncommon design phone cases, airPods cases, gaming mouse pads..... ring lights collection, outstanding,.. so many more stuff. I do not recommend this store to anyone. They sold me an item that doesn't work and wouldn't take it back. I've lost complete trust in any of the people working there. When I tried to leave the store after my return/exchange was denied the man kept trying to convince me it's ok and that he'd sell me a new one at a discount. I'm disappointed I wasted my time. I have purchased multiple items from this store and aside from one, they all broke or ceased to function within the first 2 months. I am NOT harsh on my items. I also bought a micro camera for over $130 and found the exact same one online at multiple retailers for $13 shipped. Mke sure you ask about return policy! Their items are poorly made and they charge premium prices. They will not exchange or give store credit. The person inside the store will not tell you when a manager will be there or try to help you, but tell you " you need to understand I just work here". This store has A LOT of cute cell phone accessories as well as chargers, headphones, wireless speakers, etc....you name it and they probably have it! The prices are reasonable, too. Horrible, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. I brought my phone in to have the screen replaced for some cracks. It wasn't bad enough to warrant it fixing, but my husband was insistent. 1. I called ahead to inquire about the repair: did they have the parts, how much etc. a young, unprofessional kid who sounded very distracted and unmotivated assured me that I would be satisfied after paying an exorbitant fee 2. When I asked about what product I would be receiving, the young kid broke into classic, condescending mansplaining. I simply wanted to know what screen they were using and he would not give me an answer. I would have no way of knowing what sort of quality I would have to live with after a laughable, 90 day 'warranty' 2. Against all my instincts, I decided to leave my phone with a different, more respectful person 3. They gave me a 30 day window for their work and called my husband after 20 min only to tell us that they did not have the right screen (after being assured that they did and after I saw the more respectful man pull out several screens from the drawer) 4. When I came to pick it up there was significant damage done to my phone and I was berated by the young punk. The more respectful man 'promised' me that he did not remove the screen, even though I saw him working before I left. I asked for a glass screen protector so that I did not cut myself on my screen before I had it fixed elsewhere and they gave it to me after telling me they would rather not serve me and accused me of inventing my story. Looking back, I wished I would have asked to look at the security footage with them, but to what end? I would NEVER recommend ANYONE going there. Rude. Disrespectful. Dishonest. Went to pick it up 3 days later and they tried to up my signed repair cost sheet 45 bucks..Then once I got it home it would not charge. 3 days now, no call. I brought my IPhone 8 in for a cracked screen and was greeted by Ayesha Bina. Lucky for me what I needed they had a "special price" for. Last time I was in to inquire about the cost of the screen, I was told they have 3 levels of quality. This time only one was offered. Bina is your basic hustler. They do come in all shapes. I got it back from her with my home button broken and the words: This happens frequently on this particular model and is not their fault. They installed software WITHOUT MY PERMISSION that mimics the home button. Yuck. Needing my phone I took it. I called a good friend of mine who manages several store doing the same thing in Texas. His take was, that yes it is easy to break the button if you are poorly trained or make a mistake. I asked him when was the last time they broke one. His answer 6 month ago. They do dozens of screens a day. Back I went Bina sent me to their other store to get it fixed. Being more careful now, I looked at Yelp reviews of the store...and I will not waste more time. Never use these people! EVER! Even if it is your last resort. Brought my phone here a few weeks ago for a new screen. Go to pick it up and for some whatever reason my phone had to be completely restored because somehow it had too many failed attempts. Yet they asked for my passcode at the drop off. So I left it and just reset my phone. Today I drop off my phone because this time I did lock myself out of my phone and needed it restored. Mind you, I locked myself out of this AM. Dropped it off a few hours later. Drop it off and they tell me $35. 40 mins later I get a call to pick it up. Go to pick it up and my screen is no longer working. Won't allow any touch to it. My screen had been cracked for two weeks already). I tell the guy that it was working when it got dropped off and they must have done something. He insisted that it wasn't working. So I ask "how did I lock myself out of it this morning if the screen wasn't working?". Makes 0 sense. He still insisted that it was broken. I'm almost positive they either dropped it and won't own to it OR seen that the screen was cracked and took advantage so we would have to buy a new screen. I told the guy they were scammers and he then tells me "watch my language" as if I was cussing at him. This place is horrible. I tried to give them a second chance and they still messed up. This place is horrible, first of all when we came in the employee was playing a game on his phone, and went to the back to continue playing his game, and before my phone was repaired here i was able to get a lot more water on it and it would be fine, after it was repaired i came out the shower with wet hands, that much water alone was enough to absolutely ruin my phone and after repairing it they didnt say ANYTHING about the new screen being inferior or things i should avoid doing, i spent over $100 and when i brought it there they offered to charge $80 when its completely their fault for misinforming me read more
