He is an amazing inspector in terms of attention to details, understanding all elements of the home, and assessing the condition and life remaining of key part. For example, there were stuffs under the bathroom sinks but he made sure he checked drain and angle shutoff valves. He traced the HVAC vents in the attics and detected air leaks. He detect an active leak above the garage. He used a drone to inspect and took photos of the roofs. After I told me I hired a pool inspector for the pool, he agreed to accommodate that. He not only gave a digital copy of report with plenty photos and note, but also made himself available for questions after-hours and weekend. Beware! This company and the owner will put anything in his report that could harm a seller without doing his due diligence. This man put in his report that our pool heater did not operate, he never went to the pool equipment and pushed the button to turn on the pool heater, he attempted to turn it on via a remote control that controls the solar heater. The pool heater works fine there is nothing wrong with it. He told the prospective buyers that there was a problem with the roof, we had a reputable roofer out the next day he found nothing wrong with the roof it is on the newer side. In addition, he scared off the buyers by telling them there was a leak in a drain pipe that is attached to the sewer line and insinuated that the entire sewer line to the street had to be replaced. We had our plumber out to inspect the drain pipe and there is a small leak only in a portion of the drain pipe, we also had a camera put down the sewer line and there's nothing wrong with it . We are having the drain pipe repaired at this time. Basically, this man created a scenario which was not only untrue but had no basis in fact and scared off of the buyers. read more

Joe is the most thorough home inspector that I have ever worked with. His inspection for this condo is more detailed than other inspectors for our previous single-family homes. He used thermal scan to make sure that electrical panel, AC and heater were all good. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us the roofing material for the condo. Buying a house during the Covid period is stressful, but Joe at least made the inspection process a breeze. From our initial email exchange to providing us with the final report, I could not have been more thankful our real estate agent recommended him, and for good reason. 1. Joe responded swiftly when we first contacted him through email, and got us scheduled on his calendar a few days out. We appreciated that so much because being in escrow you're already racing against the clock, and due to Covid another company we called was backed up for at least 2 weeks. 2. Joe treated our home like it was his own. My real estate agent met up with him for the first hour to let him in the house, and we arrived the last 15 minutes for the briefing. This isn't the first house I've bought and I've worked with other inspectors before, so I was blown away with how thoughtful Joe was when he went over all his findings with us. I was a little worried about things he may have skimmed over because we weren't there the entire time, but gosh it really seemed like he was buying the house for himself. Joe is a family man and understands how important his work is for his clients. He really went over every corner of the house, from roof to the foundation, gave us solid recommendations on what to talk to the owners about, and overall he was just a very pleasant person. We asked so many questions but he was not irritated at all nor in a rush to leave, and just wanted us to feel confident that we had all the information we needed to move forward. 3. Joe gave us the option to pay in cash or check, we chose cash because there was a slight discount. When we arrived and handed him the cash in an envelope. He did not even count it in front of us - he just accepted it and thanked us for our business and told us to make sure to contact him if we had any other questions. I even asked him if he wanted to make sure we paid him the right amount just in case, but he wasn't concerned. I'm sure he would have told us later if it was the wrong amount, but it really showed how much he trusted us and put the human aspect of his work before the money. I know most people may not have thought much of it, but to me this small gesture goes a long way. Other inspection companies would do a good job, but I would recommend Joe over them simply because Joe treats this job like he's scouting out a home for a family member with his reputation on the line for years to come, and not just as a job that is one and done. read more
