My realtor had to reach out for two days to receive the final ALTA and when she did it was wrong. The night before my closing I finally got the correct final ALTA and it was way off from the one sent weeks back so I asked the other processor if she could go through it with me and she connected me with Scott. He sounded as if I were inconveniencing him by asking about the impactful difference, still no accountability taken for failure of including this debit and no apologies offered. Also, when I signed my closing documents I had to ask if they'd be needing the condo, mailbox, and storage keys. No one even asked! When I emailed about how disappointing this was there was no reply, so now everyone can know how disappointing their lack of communication was and know there are other Title and Escrow companies to use in the Fairfax area for your closing and settlement.

He mentioned he could help me get set up in the realtor system (MRIS) based on the wishlist of things I was looking for in an apartment. This way I would see listings in real time--as soon as they were on the market and continually updated. He directed me to his website to learn more about how his services worked. After a lengthy email exchange (with the most prompt response times on his part ever!!), I had full confidence in Eddie and decided to hire him to help me search. Until then, I had no idea a realtor could help me find a rental. All in all, it was the easiest rental search I've ever done, and we have moved a LOT over the years for my husband's work. Eddie says he's been in the business for 30 years, and it shows. He was able to answer every question I have, make sure I didn't forget things at the apartment showing (only had to do one to find the right place, and it's perfect!!), put my mind at ease when I was worried about delays in communication with the rental company, and in general just have a relaxed, no-nonsense, professional, and confident manor, which I found so helpful in the stressful hunting process. No driveway should look this bad in that short of a time. This driveway's concrete was either improperly mixed, sealed, or dried. I never put salt on the driveway. The corrosion must have come off the street on my tires. The damage should not be this bad in less than a year. The "Customer Service" department never called me; we only exchanged emails. Their view is that the bad winter and indirectly applied de-icing agents caused the problem. I don't believe that it would look this bad after the first winter if the concrete was correctly mixed, poured and dried.

Even when DOZENS of code violations are discovered in just the basement they'll tell you nothing is wrong with the house and will refuse to check for similar problems anywhere else. Even when all of the countertops and cabinets in the house fall away from the walls, they'll say it's not a problem and it will take them 8 months to fix. Even when your floors sag all over the house and it's because of their shoddy framing job, they'll tell you there's nothing wrong with your house and take a year to fix it. Even when the cheap windows they installed in every room of the house crack and pop whenever there is a slight wind, scaring your family and animals, waking you up in the middle of the night, and you have sent them DOZENS of videos throughout the year proving the issue is loud and severe... they'll just send a guy over with little foam pads and Pledge to spray in the windows and say it's fixed (it's not). If you don't mind shortcuts, excuses, the blame game, and a total lack of care in the quality of these fairly expensive homes... Brookfield is the builder for you! God speed.
