I have to have a experience that moves me one way or the other now. This was such an experience. I read your reviews, I trust them, but I make decisions still, based on my gut and own research. I don't see a 1 star review, and think it is all encompassing. I don't see a 5 star, and trust it to mean it can be globalized either. Enter Charlie, with Cleaner Greens Lawn and Landscape. In part, I chose him because I am a military veteran, and I understand and try to support other veteran owned or operated businesses, or service providers. I know it takes finesse, and a special kind of person to navigate us veterans in most cases, as we are wired different following our service to this country. We don't need special handling instructions, but we do move in a different manner because of our experience. Our expectations of our work, and efforts, can be a bit meticulous. We want to go the extra mile, and don't need much recognition that we do. I had a couple of issues and needed my irrigation systems prepped for next spring. That meant I needed someone that could be flexible, since I have two systems, two different homes, leaks, but also ME. Yes, me. I am also a vet, so my wants are also exacting, detailed and I can be too direct or demanding. Maybe even intense. Put two of us together....? You do the math... Well I had a couple of concerns that needed to be addressed after the initial services, and I was impatient in awaiting a reply. Charlie, as the consummate pro, walked me through the mine field back to reassurance he would definitely come through and figure it out. He did, the same day. Promise kept. This is a rarity in business these days. A business that stands up for and by their craft, and work. Was he a bit arrogant? Maybe. But when you have the work behind it, you should be if that work is called into question. So in those other reviews, there may be a bit of truth in the 1 star reviews. I do know part of that is his no nonsense approach to his work, but some of it might have been the customers own expectations. Is Charlie a little rough around the edges.. maybe. Maybe he is all edges. Military service rewires us as people, and designs us for battle, for actual war, combat, not planting flowers, but ending lives. It is something most vets, and family members of veterans understand. Not to excuse us, but maybe to help others understand. As well, his prices are somewhere in the middle, but his actual work is top shelf. He didn't leave trash anywhere, and you can have an actual conversation with him about every detail of the service, and he gives you details in a manner you can understand even if you've never worked on your own system as I have. I hope when you are looking for a sprinkler service, you read the reviews, trust your gut, and then when taking bids for the job, add Cleaner Greens as one of your options. And remember, are you looking for professional worksmanship at a value, or a friend? I was looking for the first, and got just that. Now when spring comes, I am confident, even if there is a snafu, Charlie will be ready to show up, and get things on track. As always. Take care of yourselves. I had a full day planned already and kept calling back because I sure didn't want to miss this appointment. Cary was very kind and understanding and told me the service tech would call me. Steve, the service technician, was kind enough to call me when he was 30 minutes out. When he came he pointed out that the compressor that was having problems was a 2006 compressor, That meant this sweet machine had been working for 20 years! A dishonest technician would have told me that that was a long time for a compressor and it needed to be replaced, But Steve is honest, and did his due diligence, He diagnosed it as a capacitator problem, fixed the capacitator and within 24 hours of my first call to this amazing company my AC was again cooling! I then hired them for yearly maintenance because they had built a trust level with me. American Air Masters is a top rate company!!!

Curtis is a very professional, no-nonsense type of man, not trying to up-sell you, and the entire experience was very pleasant. I hired them to replace my roof gutters and some siding. They started on the work then disappeared…read morefor a few days. The project manager said the crew that had started had been deported but he found another crew to finish. He added in siding touch-ups and paint for the whole exterior to make it up. Later on I found leaks on my roof due to the vents being installed backwards and several exposed nails. I called several times until I finally got someone honest enough to tell me what the issue was. They reluctantly fixed the vents and just put some caulking over the exposed nails. Years later when my 5 yr warranty is about to expire I called them because of a leak around my chimney. They took about 3 weeks to send someone out to take a look at it, during the wettest May in history. By this time my insurance had sent someone who said it wasn't weather damage. The 3rd party contractor JNT sent said it was a problem with the flashing which wasn't replaced. A week later I heard nothing from JNT and had to call back and forth again. JNT said it was weather damage. I told them that their contractor and my insurance adjustor disagreed. About another week goes by and they agree it was flashing but that wasn't covered in our original contract. I'm also out of luck because they don't know how to work with stucco. I had no idea they were going to lay the roof and do a half assed job since they don't even work with stucco. Basically horrible service any time I've had to deal with them.

Salesman pointed out multiple roofing "issues" they could "fix" with a new roof as well. Decided to call Brettco because I was very pleased with roofing jobs they did on a previous house of mine and M-I-L's house. They did a very thorough roof inspection and reported the roof was fine. I asked who they recommended for siding repair and turned out they could do it, as well as painting my soffit and fascia which were a little tired and faded. Their painter revived a front door that I was afraid was too far gone! The siding replacement and painting of all siding, soffit, and fascia was perfectly executed, and they left absolutely no mess behind! I have dealt with a bunch of contractors over the years, both at work and on my houses. Brettco is the only one I have ever endorsed publicly or on social media!
