My husband and I were traveling from L.A. for a reunion weekend with college friends in Breckenridge. During our travels my very old, almost ancient, iPhone 5s's battery kept expanding so much that the screen was, very badly, popping out. I desperately searched on Yelp to find a local phone repair shop and stumbled upon Smart Phone Repairz and decided to give it a shot. Tony was so nice and was able to replace my battery and reattach the screen within an hour and a half! Also, the price that I was charged was so reasonable, especially compared to L.A. I wish that Smart Phone Repairz was closer to us because I would definitely go back if there was ever a need to. P.S. Echo, the very friendly shop dog, was great too! read more

These guys fixed the shattered screen on my daughter's iPhone 6 in under 20 minutes. They were friendly and helpful and explained to me what she needed to do to get the phone to work again after the screen was fixed. They would have done it themselves, but needed the password, which I didn't know. Excellent experience! Loved Echo, the reception dog! Only drawback is that it is hard to find: it's in the same building as Carniceria Santa Cruz, but the entrance is at the side of the building facing 12th st (not Blue River Parkway). read more

Had a great experience here. The staff were very friendly and made sure I understood their (very fair) terms and conditions before signing. In the end, it worked out ok. I was excited to have someone locally replace my battery in my iPhone 6 instead of potentially buying a new phone or driving to Denver. The battery replacement was quick, 30 minutes and a decent price. But, when my speaker wouldn't work after the battery replacement Tony tried to argue there was no connection between the two. Potentially, he admitted that the connections may not have lined up properly. I asked that he take a look at it. When I came back he indicated that I would need a new speaker $60. My husband said, just give us the phone back. It took Tony about 30 minutes to put it back together, I guess he replaced the speaker under warranty and gave me a new tempered glass protector which was a promotion. It works and I can hopefully get a few more years out of it. Maybe in the future, he will make less of a fuss and say let me see what I can do, treat the customer with respect and take the 'customer is always right' attitude. It would be nice if there was a window so you could see them working rather than everything being secretive in the back. In the end, Tony may be good at fixing phones and Jared who helps him is very good. But, the customer service needs polishing. If Jared wasn't there, I would probably not go back. read more

I turned my phone in and they said that it would take an hour and that they would call me. i never got a call and then i called them and they said that my phone was ready but he left early. so i had no idea that i needed to get my phone before 7. plus i had work so there wasn't a way for me to get a hold of them. i was heading to denver the next day and then he said that i couldn't get my phone till 1. but he could meet me in the am. Once i got my phone back the 3d touch doesn't work and my screen is faded. i would not recommend this place. read more
