I had some concerns regarding the unevenness of my old, concrete floor. Frank came out to see it and took photos to show his team as a "heads up" for when they come out to do the job. After doing a bit of homework, we finally decided on Smart Garage and we are extremely happy that we did! I waited till we could drive in our garage before writing this review. We got a quote from Frank who was extremely friendly and not pushy. For our 2-car garage, Frank said the job would be done in one day! We couldn't walk on it for 2 days and drive on it for 3 days. He said they would remove the existing flooring, and some other steps I don't remember. We chose the color Gray, which is gray with little white and black speckles. The 2 guys arrived at 8 o'clock sharp and got straight to work. They were completely done, packed up and cleaned up around 3:30. After all said and done, the only thing that was a bit eh, was the smell that the coating left. It only smelled during the 3 days, but we left the garage door opened whenever we were home. Wow, what a service. Called theses guys and they were able to schedule me in for an estimate within the same week. It took them maybe 15min to figure out where to install. They weren't here longer than an hour. I purchased 2 racks. The price is reasonable, service is excellent, and product is reliable. Great and Honest!!! We called Kurt for an overhead rack installation. He asked about our ceiling. Ours is unfinished ceiling where you can see the rafters. He asked when house was built. He said chances are the beams are not load bearing but he'll still come out to take a look. He saw the beams and advised that they are indeed not load bearing and cannot install a storage rack. Thanks for your HONESTY and for caring about your customers. He could've easily just installed and earned money from us. FYI, we previously called another highly reviewed rack installer whom we specifically asked about load bearing issue. He said the beams didn't matter and he's installed racks a thousand times. He will just charge additional $20 if ceiling is over 8 ft high. This made us back out from that call. Thanks Kurt! read more

We used Smart Garage years ago to install an overhead storage rack and were so impressed with their service that we decided to hire them again to epoxy coat our garage floor. Frank from Smart Garage was competitive with his pricing and quick to follow up with any questions we had. The floor looks and feels beautiful and definitely helps finish off our house. I called Frank to ask if they could repair a small patch that had peeled apart. SG had done my garage flooring and cabinetry in 2017. The garage flooring still looks great. It was just a small patch that started to peel apart. Anyways, he let me know he'd get back in touch with me when they could schedule his team to come out and repair it. We decided to fix our garage floor last minute (just a few days before movers showed up) from a recommendation of our electrician (O'Hagan Electric). I gave them a call and fortunately they were able to swing by, give me and estimate and show up for work the very next morning. They were quick and thorough, patched the cracks first, roughed up the surface and then started laying down the new floor. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My husband and I hired Smart Garage to do the epoxy on our brand new home build for our garage 3 years ago. We worked with Frank on the project. When the job was finished, the floor was very rough to the touch and had many thin spots. I've had epoxy done by another company at my previous house that was superior quality to what Smart Garage did. When I questioned it, Frank said that it was rough so you wouldn't slip on the floor. He said that it would cost extra if we wanted to add more clear coat. Despite our disappointment, we lived with the garage the way it was. Fast forward 3 years to September 2019, we noticed a long crack in the epoxy in the center of our garage along with rusting and flaking on our sewer cap. After several calls to Frank, he finally came out to inspect it. He explained they don't guarantee the sewer cap but would have a guy come out and fix the crack. He also said they would add another clear coat when I showed him the rough spots throughout the garage. He said he would get back to me in two weeks once it was approved by his distributor. A month later I had to call him to find out the status. He scheduled his guy to come out the following week. The night before he texted to confirm that his guys would come out to fix the crack but he said the clear coat was not approved. After a lot of back and forth with Frank, he finally agreed to add the clear coat. His guy came out the following morning and patched the work up and added a clear coat. When he left I walked out to the garage and was shocked at what I saw. He didn't use the correct color for the patch! The patch base is a much lighter/blue gray than the original. Additionally, the crack extends about 2 feet off from the patch that didn't get fixed. There is some kind of fuzz stuck in the patch, which I believe was from the vaccum the worker used after my husband and I had cleaned it. And the patch is much rougher than the rest of the floor. When I texted a photo to Frank, his response was "it's the same color, your flooring is just older and the patch is new". His response didn't make sense to us at all as our garage is kept in excellent condition and the epoxy is the same color as it was 3 years ago. When I asked Frank if he could come out to the house to meet with my husband and I and take a look at the job in person - he didn't reply. I contacted him a second time to ask again, and no reply. So in summary, we felt that the quality of the epoxy with Smart Garage was poor and based on our experience they didn't stand behind the work they did. We are left with an ugly patch that doesn't match the rest of the floor. We felt Frank was very unprofessional in the way he handled the matter, and he clearly didn't care that we were unhappy with the end result. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I've had storage racks installed in my home before and thought Smart Garage was the same company that installed them. They were not and the quality of the shelved that were installed were far less than my other shelves. The new shelves are rickety and I do not trust getting on them to move boxes around. I did call and talked to someone about the installation but was told they were good and there is no more they could not do anything to improve them. I have to call a carpenter to fix the wobbly shelves so I can feel safe to be on them. If you are paying good money for good service then don't call this company. read more

I called Frank and told him it needed a little touch up and asked if it was covered by the "lifetime" warranty. The answer was quickly "yes."
