Absolutely terrible experience! This window washer basically stole $185 from my 84-year-old father. The windows were left filthy, with tracks and screens completely neglected, even after he went out of his way to say that would be included in the price. When asked to come back and fix the mess, he made excuses about 'hard water stains' and said it was 'not my fault.' To make matters worse, he even suggested my dad use a Brillo pad on the windows to get them clean! Then, he had the nerve to mention something about window restoration and that it would cost 2.5-3.5 times more. The windows are less than 5 years old and just need to be cleaned! The attached picture is one window, but they ALL look the same. The lack of accountability and dismissive attitude are infuriating! He clearly doesn't care about doing the job right or treating customers with respect. Total rip-off! Stay far away from this service!" In his response to my review, he writes, "Not True." Like I said Excuse after excuse", my house cleaner has done better work cleaning my "water-stained" windows, and I live at the beach. This guy is a CRIMINAL. We had a backflow situation with clogged gutters and they nicely took my call yesterday late in the day (thank you!) and booked an appointment for early this morning. Since I wasn't at the house when the service was rendered I could only review after the fact. It wasn't perfect but it would have been, if I had been there. Israel from Smart Finish was super fast to respond, got the information he needed and was able to give a no-fuss quote. Their price was FAR better than everyone else's, they really beat out the competition. At first I was a little hesitant to choose them because of some bad reviews they've gotten, but Israel was super nice and easy to get a hold of in the phone, easy to schedule and showed up perfectly on time. He did a great job with our gutters (although I suppose we'll really see when it rains this weekend, I'll update this review if anything changes), and was easy to pay via Zelle. Hired Smart Finish to clean out gutters, and specifically pointed out the two downspouts that were clogged. Service seemed to go fine and they said they verified all gutters were clear with a hose. It rained two days later and the same two downspouts were still fully clogged. Contacted Smart Finish for a follow up several times, both via Yelp and phone and have gotten mostly silence. Always give excuses for NO SHOWING AND NO CALLING. I have included this pattern of them not showing up for appointments. Companies like this ALWAYS give excuses and don't own their lack of customer service. Things like "a car accident" "I gave my guys the wrong address" "family emergency." Excellent hard workers. We have three buildings with many huge windows (5' x 11') on two stories. Some even have exterior tinting on them, so extra care needs to be taken. These can sometimes take a second touch-up wash and they don't leave until we're satisfied. We've had them out here three or four times now and are quite pleased. Their price is fair and they've never asked for more - even if windows need a second wash. They also do a fantastic job on our inside windows as well as the Solar Panels (ask them for before and after photos - you'll be amazed). They're also very good with communications - texts and emails. This is important! read more
