Summary of my review from attending a CPR, AED, and First Aid course with CPR Connections on…read more7/16/26 at Legacy House Centennial Hills. I was hoping for a great class based on the reviews, and the itinerary listed. However, the class was not ideal. * Only practiced CPR on adult and infant manikins once with no practice for child CPR procedures. * No hands-on training for AED use, choking response, or first aid procedures. * Approximately 30 students with only 3 adult and 3 infant manikins available for training. They appeared to be unprepared for the number of attendees as seats were slowly coming into an already packed room for each new person that came through the door. This created a disorganized atmosphere, and gave the impression that they did not know how many students had registered for the class. * Instructor was often difficult to hear due to soft speaking and noise outside of the classroom. * Assistant was unavailable to assist instructor in observing the hands-on CPR practice stating that they were doing a test during the class. * Many participants appeared to be performing compressions incorrectly, as the feedback lights were frequently red or off, indicating improper compression depth, hand placement, or technique. Nothing was corrected. * Text message notifications repeatedly appeared on the presentation screen, including one with derogatory language. I found this to be unprofessional, distracting, and awkward. * Course was advertised as 2 hours but ended after about 1.5 hours. * Final material was rushed, leaving little time for questions or additional practice. * Left feeling unprepared and disappointed with the overall quality of the training. I understand that unexpected issues can arise, but I am disappointed by the lack of organization, instruction, and structure in a class that teaches critical lifesaving skills. I plan to get better training in a CPR, AED, and First Aid class somewhere else.

Not only do you get to the material you need to pass the test the first time, you get the endless knowledge and experience of instructor Candace! She gives you the opportunity to learn and utilize her expertise and knowledge beyond your class. Simply amazing experience! I took the property and casualty course in person, and passed my adjusters test the first time! I felt beyond prepared and got the results I wanted!

The instructor are very patient with all the students, also the admissions team were also great and were always available if there were questions or issues. I recommend this trucking school to anyone who interested in driving professionally. This school also has multiple trucks all in excellent condition and they use 53 foot trailers during training just like the ones you will be using once you become a professional driver. Once you finish your training you will return to the school for your DMV driving tests instead of having to go to the DMV to complete. You won't regret choosing Ahern ACT for your trucking school.

It was very frustrating and disappointing. It also felt like the main focus was on taking our money rather than providing students with the support and preparation they need to succeed. There was very little help or guidance provided to students who were struggling to pass the course. Two of my son's friends also failed the course and experienced the same lack of support. I believe the school should do more to prepare students for the final exam and provide meaningful assistance when they are having difficulty.

My daughter saw Nevada State on social media via their Tik Tok and was dying to enroll because of their student engagement events. I ended up moving my family to a different state this past September due to work, so they do not attend the school, but I had such a wonderful experience talking to these two receptionists.
