Date of visit: February 16, 2026 The visit did not start out well; I am new to Las Vegas and to being fingerprinted so when I went in and spoke to the woman at the counter, she seemed annoyed that I did not know the secret words to get her to do the right things. She was not wearing a name tag so I unfortunately can not provide any details about her identity. I needed to do this before I could head to the office for my first day of work, so that they were open at 8 a.m. and easy to get to were big bonuses. After we got that unpleasantness out of the way, the rest of the experience was quick and painless. I filled out a basic form and then she did the rest. I was worried that it would be old school ink pads and whatnot but it was actually all electronic and I just needed to apply some location to my hands and we were off and running. I walked in after work to get my passport photo taken because this came up on a search and it's on my way home. They were also one of the only places open past work hours, so that was a huge plus. The owner (Kevin, I believe) was very friendly and we had a great chat while I was there. It was $10 and he got it done super quickly! Go directly to AES and forget anywhere else. If you need an alcohol awareness card or fingerprinting, this is THE place. Friendly staff (and owner!), in and out in minutes, better pricing, and easy as can be. Plus, they're open until 7pm! I had tried to get my fingerprints done at three different places, and all of them left early for the day. I'd even called ahead earlier in the day and asked when they'd be available to. I wasted time and gas and was really frustrated. So I found AES, gave them a call, and the owner, Kevin Johnson answered and was very helpful and nice, and said to come on down and they'd take care of me. I've gotten my fingerprints done a few times before at other places, but AES has definitely been my best experience out of all of them! I picked AES because they were the only place open late, until 7pm! I walked in to get my fingerprints for nursing and was promptly assisted, with just one person before me finishing up. Kevin was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! He got my prints done efficiently and offered great tips on how to process my documents. They offer many other services like alcohol cards, passport, and notary, etc. The prices are comparable to other places. I would definitely recommend their services! read more

First, it is important that you interpret the reviews - because AES does multiple services. In some cases, a person may have had a negative experience specific to the type of service they requested. If they didn't call this out, it doesn't give enough information for the company to improve that specific service. Obviously, those that call out fingerprinting had stellar experiences by and large, for example. But it's not the only service they offer. This review was for fingerprinting - specifically mobile fingerprinting. AES was the only local company to actually still be responsive to a need to get fingerprinted for a gaming registration. It came down to two companies; the other said, quote, "I'll see you then" (aka a confirmation to show up) and didn't show up, then when called out on it, said, quote, "sorry, there was no confirmation of the appointment", then talked about a completely different need; so she was confusing clients basically. Kevin was willing to accommodate where nobody else was, and despite minor technical issues (not his fault), everything got completed. Needed to share this with y'all. I get a call from my director letting me know that my TAM Card expired and that I couldn't report to work. This was today, 9/2/19...Labor Day. I call around and everyone is closed. I call AES and a Kevin answers. I explain to him my situation, and after I'm finished he said "Sorry, I'm in Phoenix right now". I obviously though the worst again, when he then says "...but my son is in town. I can have him meet you at the store if you need it by today". I couldn't believe he'd go out of his way (or make his son go out of his way) to get me this card which is only $20. He told me he'll send me a link to my cellphone and to just do the course before I get to the store. He did, I completed it, and got to the store at 1PM where his son was waiting for me. Sadly enough, this is something I only get to do every 4 years, but I wouldn't think of any other place to do it, but here. I encourage anyone that likes that kind of personable service to head down there as well. read more

I am disgusted with the way they handle their business. I went in and there were 4 other people taking the test. The lady at the front desk gave me my test. I completed before the other 4 people who were there before me. Instead of grading mine and moving on as each person finished. She made me wait until they finished and started helping all of those who finished after me first. What a waste of time gas and energy. Don't waste your time here. read more

I have taken other alcohol education courses, what sets AES apart is their easy from home prep course and the in and out process once you get there. I took the course for 'Alcohol Awareness' online before I walked in. The course was easy, had good review questions, and though the website seemed a bit dated, it was incredibly easy to navigate. I finished the course within an hour or so and felt I had a pretty good grasp of the content. Afterwards, I went to AES as a walk-in. I told them my email address and they were able to pull up my completed course. They handed me a 20-question test which took about 5 minutes to complete. I think I had 17/20(?) correct and they reviewed my incorrect answers with me. I paid the fee, received my card immediately, and I was on my way. I think this entire process took less than one hour including the online course. Though they were incredibly nice and very personable, I could do without the small talk. However, I know they are definitely very respectful people because the form asks if you would like to be emailed near expiration of my card. I like being asked rather than simply added to their database. Good on them, they're absolutely doing everything right. read more

Okay, these folks just keep it BASIC and that's really all you truly need in regards to procuring your Alcohol Awareness Card. After you've completed their online study course (i.e., 8 Chapters), you simply print out your confirmation of completion sheet and take it with you to the address on W. Dewey. My experience upon arrival was "quick and very painless" as the test is rendered "old school" (i.e., on paper) with roughly 20 questions to answer. After that you are given your card, pay your fee and out the door. That's it! I enjoyed meeting Mr. Kevin Johnson who is the Managing Partner at AES. He was very approachable and informative during my brief time there to take my exam. Also, Goodwill of Southern Nevada issued me a voucher to pay my card fee (i.e,. $20.00) which is no "small feat". Goodwill of Southern Nevada recognizes AES as the "go to" spot when it comes to acquiring your Alcohol Awareness Card. That shows that AES has "cred". One of the ONLY places in the Las Vegas/Henderson/Sumerlin area to be open on a Saturday!! The people that work here know the business and everything about it!!! This place is great!!! It took at most 5 mins to renew my TAM card. There's a short test, but it's very easy. Some TAM card places say they're open all day, but actually they're only open for a few hours. Most of the time no one answers the phone. At Alcohol Education Services, there's always someone there and they're open until 7pm! No where else is open until 7pm. That's so awesome! The gentleman helping me was very friendly and helpful.
