The teen experience helped my son so much! It is night and day and brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

I tried watching some YouTube videos, and I'm sure there is some good advice out there, somewhere, but I figured having someone explain the basics to me then watch me and give advice on what I should change, was worth the investment. Cameron was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly - patient.

I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! Can't wait to take more lessons from him soon and start kicking ass at golf!

I discovered these guys on a podcast when I was in college, around 2007. I had been away at school…read morefor a couple years by then and I had only made a couple friends. I spent most of my time in class, studying, and playing video games. I wanted to figure out how to get more out of life than what I had. I wanted to know how to meet people and make friends. I wanted to have a healthier, happier self-image. I wanted to feel confident and have the courage to throw myself into the deep end of life. Just by listening to the podcast, I managed to turn my college experience around. I made a number of solid friends, was invited to some great parties, crashed some great parties, and went on some stellar adventures with fun people. But as I neared graduation I felt like I had reached a plateau. I felt like I had pushed myself as far as I could on my own and my potential was still far beyond my reach. So, as soon as I moved out to San Diego for work, I signed up for a bootcamp at the Art of Charm because I'm a firm believer that a quality coach can always push me farther than I can push myself because I am limited by my own perspective and experience. Let me tell you, that was one of the best decisions I made. It was inspiring to be around like-minded humans who wanted to improve their lives, to be better humans overall, and to push each other outside of our comfort zones. And boy, did we get pushed. That week I spent in LA forever altered the course of my life. There was so much knowledge, instruction, and application of principles packed into one week that I kept returning on weekends to sit through class and help out wherever I could. It was worth every penny and more. I recommend the podcast and the bootcamp to everyone who expresses an interest in developing their confidence and social skills. The subsequent decade was an amazing rollercoaster ride filled with high highs and low lows. I made some amazing friends across the globe, fell into some magical romances with wonderful humans, switched careers multiple times, discovered my love for solo-backpacking, learned to love myself, went on some adventures rivaling anything you've seen on the big screen, and learned countless valuable life lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What a ride it's been. In closing, I attribute most, if not all of the success, confidence, and life fulfillment I have to The Art of Charm. If you want to get the most out of life, I can't recommend the bootcamp strongly enough.

Today, August 5, 2025 at about 3:15, at the Serene and Eastern store, I found the perfect desk for my granddaughter. It was a white Claiks electric standing desk. As I was removing the tag to bring it up to the counter to purchase it, a woman became very testy with me, challenged me about purchasing it etc... It was a bit bizarre and felt a little intimidating. A few minutes later when I went to the counter to purchase it, all the sales people got nervous and started murmuring together and called the manager who refused to sell the desk to me. She had various excuses. When I got home, I googled the desk and had it been new it would sell for about $300. Anyway, the entire situation was very stressful and very suspect.

To NIMA institute and fellow students who are interested into this school:…read more This trade school is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I am a former student and graduate of this institute, and based on my firsthand experience, courses are rushed to the point where students barely have time to actually learn the material, creating a chaotic and stressful environment instead of a proper educational one. The institute clearly does not care about the quality of education or who actually graduates, they only care about money. Tuition was originally $18,500 and was suddenly raised to $20,500, with no justification or improvement in education or resources to match the increase. to be honest, a perfect example of this lack of organization was the laser course, which was a required course to complete the program. Instead of ensuring students had proper access and time to finish, the institute started another laser course for a different class at the same time. This created unnecessary competition for limited rooms and equipment, making an already important course extremely stressful and difficult to complete. They track things that don't benefit students and ignore what actually matters for learning and success. Everything feels money driven rather than student focused. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and wasted money, do not attend this school. Choose a different institute that actually values its students and their future.
