You need to have the Vons app and clip the coupons to get the best deals at the store. I've also been inside a few times, their meat department is unique and they will cut orders for you upon requet. With the good quality and sale prices I shop here at least once a week. Their inventory online could use some updating but the customer service that fixes issues does help. Their produce is a bit pricey, but there are many other items I stock up on and it's more peaceful then battling the crowds at the bigger stores.

I have tried dozens of various businesses, restaurants, etc...simply put- this tastes like grandma used to make, and now what we make. But instead of hours of prep and labor...unless you do it as a family as a special tradition of course...stop by this place and just buy some! Rice is not over or undercooked, leaves are consistently rolled appropriately, and texture is great. Good size too! Flavor- delicious! Poor Customer Service…read more I have visited this Armenian grocery store only a few times over the past several years, and unfortunately, my most recent visit left me with a very negative impression. What especially upset me was when the cashier took a bag of chips directly from my child's hands and put it back while she was looking at it. I am teaching my child to always check the expiration date before purchasing food, so there was no reason to treat her this way. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming, especially toward children. After this experience, I do not feel comfortable returning to this store. I still remember when this place was 24 hours. I recently needed a cake a day before my niece's 1st birthday party. I stopped by Frosted Cakery and they did not have anything. For some reason, I remembered that Food Maxx had a big selection of cake. I was going to get a premade cake, but saw that they had specialty cakes. I asked how far in advance would I need to order the cake. They said 24 hours, but gave me a 12 pm time instead which was perfect since my niece's birthday was at 5pm. I ordered the 505 Barnyard Animals 1/2 pan sheetcake with pink frosting. Pick up was farely easy. The Happy 1st birthday lettering was cute! Ada- I temporarily have a sprained ankle that is taking longer to heal than I would like and am currently in a cam walking boot so when I go to public places that require a lot of walking, I look for an electric scooter do I do not overwork my legs. They always have one that is charged and ready to go with a huge cart. I was able to use it when I had to pick up the huge cake by myself! The workers are constantly busy, but when they are free and I ask for help, they are more than willing. Definitely reccomended for cute cakes! It was only $40 bucks for a half sheet with custom photo. Cakes don't always have to be tiered or cost an arm and a leg. The marble sheet cake was good and the frosting was not too sweet. Make sheet cakes great again!
