I had a Predator generator which would not start. Spoke to Eric on the phone, brief conversation and made arrangements to get it to him that weekend. I told him no rush that I would need it before race weekend. This was in early April, so, plenty of time, maybe too much time if it turned into a back burner project. To my surprise he called me about 2 weeks later said it was ready for me to come and pick it up at my convenience. So, quicker turnaround than I thought at a fair price on a handshake deal. I the beginning, I felt like Eric was going to be my new "go to" small engine mechanic. But once he had my riding mower the second time, I asked him if he thought the mower was worth putting more money into and he said he would let me know. I didn't here from him for at least a month and so I called him and he told me how busy he was and that he would look into it and get back with me. Of course he didn't. I understand that good mechanics will be busy but not once did he call me to let me know what was going on with my mower. I finally texted him to let him know that I was going to pick it up and sell it and he didn't respond to that either. So when I picked it up a few days later he acted upset. He had my mower at least 2-3 months without letting me know anything unless I contacted him. If a company is going to stay in business, they have to communicate with the paying customers. read more
