Sometimes they are very busy so going at the right hour is great (although that time can shift). There is a room upstairs in the back with some pre-made "accidents" that can be acquired for a discount. They provide UltraVue® UV70 AR Glass which is my favorite. I acquire supplies and frame myself so this all works pretty well for me too. They also give artists a discount. Parking out front is convenient going in, but getting back out is a bit tricky .. I suggest parking in the lot behind the building.

The second time I took some paintings in, they were more expensive and not so good on any price reductions. The 3rd time, I had 4 more framed, and it had gotten very expensive. Each time, I used their "discount" Artist's Corner, so expected better prices. They do a beautiful job, but as an artist, I need to find another framer. Between commission to galleries and expensive framing costs, I am making less on my own paintings than they are. If you are willing to pay the price and can afford it, they do a beautiful and professional job.

This tiny shop, located in The Wedge building, houses five ceramic artists. All wood-fire their beautiful yet each truly unique, wares in the 27 foot long wood burning kiln. Clayspace Co-Op started as a two man production, two local student artists needed a space to work and together complied resources to open up the gallery and work space in 2003. Since then, the shop has expanded to six local professional ceramic artists who work and show in the cooperative space. The co-working space is in the back of the gallery and didn't seem accessible to general public, but the ceramics themselves, which adorn every surface and self, are individually handcrafted which is seen through the colors and rough edges. So, if you're in the market for: bowls, mugs, vases, urns, pitchers, plates or any type of jar wit a lid, and you're willing to pay for handcrafted items, this shop is not to be missed.

This is a large space filled with tons of locally made artwork. There is everything from jewelry, scarves, paintings, photography and most any other art/crafts you can imagine. This is a great space to decorate your home, to buy gifts, or just to look around for creative inspiration. When I visited, two of the artists were there to greet me and tell me about the gallery. They were very friendly and helpful yet allowed me to stroll through the space alone. I appreciated my experience here and hope to be back soon!
