This is the most cute store in all of Asheville. I take all of my out of town guests here and we collectively drool over all the pretty items. This store is so chic. And has amazing light and has an epic location right in the middle of Lexington. The staff is always glowing and super helpful. I also love when they have events and come out with new colors every once in a while. I'm a huge fan of how they create table top settings so you can see how the colors go with each other. If you haven't been here yet and you need some new kitchenware. This is your place.

Love this place. Not cheap of course, but worth it. It feels like a mix of an art space and a shop. Grabbed a mug (finally!) and am happy about it. The people who worked there were friendly, too.

We discovered East Fork pottery while having a wonderful dinner in Asheville one weekend visit. The server told us the beautiful plates they used were local and nearby, so the next morning we stopped by the East Fork shop. Inside the location is filled with their beautiful dinnerware. We arrived right after they opened and the store was already busy with customers. After a quick greet, one of the staff assisted us by showing the different color palates and the different dinnerware options. SOLD! We just loved their selection and bought a nice set of 4 for ourselves. East Fork's colors and designs were just what we had been seeking for some time, and we left very happy. We now realize we want to return on a future visit to Asheville and add to our selection. East Fork is unique and offers a beautiful assortment of dinnerware, which are handmade and worth the price.

We love East Fork Pottery. We discovered them during a trip to Atlanta and our obsession has built since. The EF staff is fantastic, they are attentive to questions and helped to show us different color combinations via IG of what we were envisioning. It's with their help that we have carefully constructed what we consider the perfect dish order for our new lake house and we can't wait to have our first family dinner with them!

Beautiful store. Amazing pottery. Fun little trinkets. I was in town with my husband, infant, and toddler. They had a little couch in the back, which my husband and toddler enjoyed while I shopped around. I'm a prop stylist, and own some East Fork already, so I didn't purchase any pottery while visiting. But I found some cool little japanese candles with paper wicks, that burn inward to keep their unique shape. The woman working was warm, and eager to help with anything we needed... she didn't seem to mind the kids which is always refreshing. Definitely visit this place.

They explained the process of making knives to us, and were able to give suggestions on which knives would be best for kitchen tasks (this knife for cutting meat, this knife for vegetables, etc.) Hearing the excitement in their voices and watching their eyes light up while explaining the processes to us truly makes the experience that much better, as it made us lock in and engage in fruitful conversation with them. We only stopped learning because we ran out of time and had to go to our next stop! If you stop by while on vacation, they are able to ship these knives to your home, FYI!

They were quick to respond by text, saying they were able to sharpen the machete that day. They're located smack downtown in Asheville on a side street (Eagle St) just off Biltmore Avenue. Parking was tight, but I was able to pop in, greeted by two very affable, friendly and welcoming employees (I assume they were owners, since they were so willing to take care of my job). The gentleman with whom I had been texting told me he'd have it ready in about 30 minutes and suggested I grab a cup of coffee and come back. The job was done excellently, and the young woman at the counter checked me out in no time. I live in Greensboro, about 2.5 hours from Asheville, and I had been unable to find any hardware store or other business who could take on the job, so this was a great place to get the job done (I was going to be in Asheville anyway, so I didn't make the trip just to get the machete sharpened). I enthusiastically recommend this local business. They have a very upscale operation and know how to take care of customers, plus they know their knives!

We called him, he came out, and he listened, gave suggestions and recommended De Wils Kitchen Cabinetry of the brands he carries. We wanted natural wood with a finish that would last and resist fading. Joel has years of experience that shows in his knowledge and design. We appreciate how patient he was as we worked through all the details. His showroom is well appointed with lots of designs and layouts. It took us 2 years of searching for a kitchen designer / cabinet company. 4 so called designer / builders we tried before Joel left us very disappointed. During the sales process, they were great and creative, but once the contract was signed, their real face was reviled. They had staff attrition, the person we worked with during the pre-sales left, and they didn't bother to tell us. At that point, we should have terminated the agreement. - They completed a one month project in 4 months - The quality of the work was terrible. They didn't measure many things accurately; some cabinets were damaged when they were delivered, and some cabinets cracked before the project was even completed. - They promised to manage the project, and they did none of that - They ruined our hardwood floor and refused to fix it. - Leslie who ended up leading the project was rude to other vendors and us and not attentive to details at all (she didn't even come to see the completed product) When we started working with their team, we found out that every vendor they contracted with to complete the work had complaints about them. We chose to work with them because of the great review on Google and the pre-sales. Don't believe these positive reviews and stay away from this company.

If you have to wait -- wait. He's a cut above the rest. We are in the process of renovating a 1925 bungalow. Justin was referred to us by a contractor and we will be forever grateful for the referral. Justin's first job was to rebuild the front porch and his attention to detail was immediately evident. He restructured the porch and then individually selected each piece of wood used for the tongue and grove floor he installed. At one point, a passing carpenter stopped by to look at the work, he thought it was so superior. As great as his carpentry is -- Justin's favorite thing is bathrooms! No surprise since his tile work is perfection. Justin redesigned, restructured, and then rebuilt our challenging, original bathroom. He finished by installing the most exquisite tile work imaginable -- floor to ceiling. The end result is amazing. Justin then moved on to our kitchen. He rebuilt the floor -- combining a former porch area with original kitchen floor -- and then installed radiant heat and tile. (It's no easy task to square up and float the floor of an old house to be level, yet when the cabinets were installed, no shims were needed.) Justin finished by installing a handcrafted subway tile back splash -- each piece a little different from the next -- once again, perfection. Did we mention the exacting prep process Justin employs before starting work and his clean-up afterward? Or the fact that his estimates match his bills that are provided in a clean and detailed manner? There are not enough superlatives to describe Justin, both as a craftsman and as a businessman. Hire him. You'll never experience a day of regret that you did. J. Ziros (January 1, 2014)
