I love this place. They have the most unique antiques and lighting designs. The fixtures are all hand made pieces. I bought this fixture and it couldn't be more perfect for my dining room table. I live in Asheville and highly recommend it.

The first time I walked into Splurge, I KNEW I had to add it to my ALWAYS VISIT list when in Asheville. Distinctive lighting and vintage furnishings might sum up the interior of the store, but it doesn't even begin to describe the imagination and beauty that goes into the work within the walls. Splurge encloses some of, if not the, most impressive lighting fixtures I have ever seen. They [Robert Nicholas] do installations for restaurants across the country [breweries to hotels, restaurants to design shops], and one step into the shop will show you why. Splurge is also a host of the Asheville Flea for Y'all Sunday flea market, a truly spectacular market if you love vintage anything! The owner, Robert Nicholas, is always close at hand when the shop is open, and is very personable. He said to "follow him on instagram" because they upload all their inventory to @splurgedesign. Splurge is definitely one of my favorite stops in the Arts District, just stop by and you'll see why!

Wow! Love this place! Lots of fun, beautiful pieces everywhere you look. Antiques, lighting, art, jewelry, local color and whatizzits. I spent quite awhile taking it all in and had a nice chat with Robert about his shop and some of the pieces. It was an entertaining stop on this tour of Asheville. I will be back. Highly recommended.

I…read morecalled the shop and was told by Betsy that was normal and that i could use a fabric shaver to remove the pilling and that I might have to do so three or four times and then it would stop. She sent me a fabric shaver which was nice. Well here we are a year and many shaves later and it continues to pill. it looks pretty terrible, like an old worn out couch - much worse than the (ripped) twenty year old couch we were replacing. I'm embarrassed to have friends over. when I do, we have to spend 30 minutes shaving the couch first, which is ridiculous. I hate to throw good money after bad but I suppose I will - we're planning to have the cushions recovered. It's not ideal since obviously they can't match the rest of the couch and that's not really the look I'm going for. But it's better than tossing it and starting over. I reached out to Four Corners recently to politely recommend they not sell this fabric (I feel bad for anyone else who might select it) and got no reply. So, I guess thats the kind of establishment this is. Disappointing - I prefer to shop independent but in this case it sure wasn't a good choice.

She took full responsibility for her oversight. I believe her apology was sincere and that she truly felt bad for failing to provide the customer attention she is accustomed to giving. I will go ahead and let Covid take the fall for this one, (as it seems to be the thing to do these days), and will definitely be open to doing business with Melissa and Four Corners in the future. Thanks for the call, Melissa. It was greatly appreciated.

Sunnyside Trading is a wonderland of bespoke items for your home that you will not find anywhere else! This place is an oasis of style and charm and brings a whole vibe to decorating your house that we didn't know we needed until we were there. And to top it all off, Stuart (the owner) and Klaus were just wonderful and friendly and so knowledgeable in helping us choose the right pieces for our new place. We wound up purchasing two leather chairs (that it turns out Stuart helped design!), but we wish we could've bought so much more. If you're looking to design your home, and stand out from the rest, pop in and have a look around.

We ventured in here during and afternoon exploring the River Arts District…read more The giant metal tiger thing outside caught my eye first, but then all the bright and colorful things inside drew me in. Everything is so vibrant and textural! I wanted to touch everything and try sitting on everything! But be careful....a couple of the chairs like to lean back and make you think you are falling! I laughed at myself after gasping like a dummy! Things are a little pricey, and I was more in a browsing and looking mood, so I didn't leave with anything. But if you are in the market for unique home goods (rugs and pillows and seating options, oh my) they are worth perusing! A sign also indicated that there was a warehouse at another location, so there is more to offer than you see at this store front!
