The court is nice and not too slippery but rims are okay because it has issues sometimes going up and down. We come after volleyball and they would lower it down for us but last time it had some issues. Been coming here for some time now and it's a great deal especially being able to rent it for a month and having a bunch of people to chip in. This location is across from the football field of Bolsa Grande HS. Parking can be hectic depending on the time you would go or if there's a high school game. But no issues for me since we play so late.

Before walking into my class, I noticed an outdoor gym with fairly up-to-date machines that was being utilized. Pretty cool if it was free or cheaper than the mainstream gym memberships. Looks like there were a few rooms you could rent out. My class was in room A, booked through Heart To Heart CPR & First Aid. Jack Griswold...he's hella funny & very knowledgable! The Best CPR & First Aid Class, Eva!! See ya in 2 years!! =^.^= The room we were in was roomy, yet cozy and clean. We had a television set up for our two courses. I'm not sure if it belonged to the recreation center. The web addy I left here would probably give you more information. You can also call and find out any additional information that's not listed, such as hours of operation. There was plenty of street parking on Jackson Street, the main side of the rec center. We had to fill out a recreation form with our name, addy, sign, and date it. If you're in the area, come check it out.

We originally rented the Center for Founders Village. We paid a deposit and agreed to hire security guards bc we wanted to serve alcohol. More than a month later, Ben calls from the city saying there has been a double booking. We have to change our date, time or venue. Ben provided no evidence that the other group signed a contract before us. We took the high road after FV Rec Center was offered at a discount. We inspected the space and found it to be workable, although not on par with the original space. A couple of days after we agreed to change the space, Ben calls back and says we have to change again. Apparently there is a party scheduled in the adjacent room at FV Rec Center, and it's for teenagers. They did not want us serving alcohol next to teenagers. Again, Ben provided no evidence that the other group signed their contract before ours, which means the teenager party should find another space, not us. We can't change the date, bc several people of the 135 expected are flying in from out of town. We ended up renting space in Santa Ana, bc FV mysteriously didn't want our biz. This is after we rented the Founders space before, and mija has volunteered for the elderly at the center. Everyone we dealt with at the dept that handles renting space is incompetent and a liar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What likely happened is that another party with pull wanted the Founders space, and we got trounced. Then you offer us space we can't have bc of the alcohol matter, when you knew we wanted to serve alcohol. Don't do biz with FV unless you want to get lied to. I am talking to my lawyer about suing the city.

There is no shade of you sit in the stands, but if you bring a pop up, you can easily set it up over the bleachers, plus there's room for your chairs. The one thing that needs improvement is the women's restroom. There were only 3 stalls, so there was always a line. And in spite of a city maintenance vehicle being parked right outside of it, the RR was always dirty, no toilet paper in every stall, no paper towels or dryer, the floors were always wet and there were no seat covers. Plus, it had a tight walking area, so you had to come close to whoever was in line next.

They appear to try and keep it maintained, but there's many large patches of muddy soil from the rain, and dry patches without grass. There's ONE large covered shelter area with benches to have lunch.

Very big and has pretty much everything you need. 5-6 baseball fields, archery range, soccer field, playground, lake for fishing, courts, areas for parties, etc... There are winding paths for walking and running, so I saw a lot of people using those. However, also a lot of people walking and running in the road, so drive slowly and watch out for pedestrians. One negative is it costs $5 to park and I think $10 on holidays. What sucks is there are no in and out privileges, so if you have to leave for some reason, you have to pay another $5 when you come back. You can just park on Euclid as many people do so. Overall, a pretty nice and quiet park. If i lived nearby, i would come more often as it is a pretty nice and scenic place to work out or just get away from the busy city.

It's tucked away in a residential neighborhood next to a school. The center features outdoor areas, indoor event spaces and meeting rooms. The center hosts a food and diaper distribution program a couple times a month for the community in partnership with local non-profits like Second Harvest food bank and Community Action Partnership. There are also youth and senior programs offered here. What makes the Delhi Center 5 stars for me now is the addition of the new City of Santa Ana Library they opened on site! I stopped in last month while I was there for a work event to get a Santa Ana library card. Any California resident can get a card.

The Nature Centre comprises of 105 acres in the East Regional portion, and has 2 miles of dirt trails and 1/4 mile paved trail with an indoor visitor center (located on an island near the entrance). My wife, her mom, and I visited on a beautiful Thursday afternoon and we really enjoyed it. The land prior to 1964 was used as flat farmland. In the late 60's, major excavation was done, creating two small ponds connected by a stream, all fed by a groundwater well. It now is the home to varied wildlife, with the most visible being turtles. They love to sun themselves on wooden floating platforms, and the water is clear enough to see them swimming underwater near the walking path bridges. There are three walking trails: 1. quarter mile paved loop, good for strollers 2. 1 mile dirt loop 3. a longer 2 mile loop, sharing some parts of the previous. Everything is well maintained. Three things I appreciated: not too many ducks and geese around, thus no visible droppings along the path; plenty of varied bench seating to rest or observe during the walk; lack of biting insects. The center is open 6 days a week (closed on Mondays). Admission to the center is free, but parking is $6 - $8 per vehicle, payable at entry (credit cards only, no cash accepted). One can buy an annual parking pass (good at both El Dorado East and West parking areas). To incentivize myself to come here more often, decided to buy one for $43 (senior discount), minus the $7 already paid for the one time fee.

I've been here far too many times to count. I love the trails here and the wildlife. It can be a…read morelittle crowded on the weekends, but where else can you take a beautiful walk that feels like you are out in nature and not in middle of city. Side note - too many people feed the squirrels and they can be really aggressive. Parking is charged and they no longer take cash. Added bonus there is are many programs here if you have time to take advantage of them.
