SCATS is the place to teach your kids the essential tools to build on any skill in anything they do. As a former SCATS student it helped me accelerate in any other sports I took on after (diving, tae kwon do, track, etc.) My coach was Cindy and she made the experience unforgettable with the work she provides there. She is an angel to the kids and you can feel she truly cares for their success! Highly knowledgeable in her work and still going at it! I'm blessed and honored to have my kids to have her too as their coach! Thank you Cindy for being in my life as well as my kids! We Love you!

We love Scats! My girls started here a couple of years ago but just this year have been consistently going & their growth is awesome! The coaches are wonderful and invest in the students. My girls started in Mighty Mites with Coach Monica and Coach Joel and they both hold a special place in our hearts. My older daughter started in Jr Academy with Coach Perla and moved up to academy with Coach Kim who are both excellent coaches. Coach Kim is so fun to watch as she spends a lot of time demonstrating proper technique to the girls. Now my oldest moved up to Coach Deiby and she is growing super fast with him! I hear he is no nonsense but he is clearly very good at what he does! We are so happy with Scats and we actually have 12 other friends from our kids school that other too! PS this gym is HUGE!

My daughter has been doing the Parent and Me class for a few months now and we love it there, the coaches are great and the office is so welcoming. My daughter gets so excited to go and I've seen so much improvement in her physical abilities and also with following directions and patience when she's waiting in line. Such a great activity for kids!

Been coming for years with my three kids. We love it. All the instructors are great and The time they put into these little gymnasts is wonderful. I don't know all their names but I'm very grateful

My kids have been going there for about 4 years! It's incredible place for kids to do gymnastics due to the dedicated coaches and programming.

I signed My daughter Emery up for a trial class...mighty mights on Tuesday at 530pm. Pros: teacher to student ratio is good. Different areas they train and rotate at is good. Cons: I wish the front desk advised of the small warm up area for mighty mites on 2nd floor where the streching starts, I was waiting to hear the group name called but then all of a sudden noticed all the young ones running to a small room upstairs and then followed late. I will say what kind of ruined the experience was at the very end at the roll-up door, i asked Kelly, who was the instructor for my daughter's group... how did she do for her first time? She mentioned blunty and in front of Emery next to me, that "she did good, but asked a lot of questions. Kelly then said, i would give her directions, but she still asked questions even after being told what to do or where to go." Soo in my head.....I was kind of like.....well, of course, she just turned 4 and has never been in this environment. nor did a gymnastics class before. Any kid under the age of 5, will need direction and constant instruction to keep focus, especially in a new, uncomfortable environment. Afterwards, I simply said thank you and walked to the car. While walking, Emery started crying and said I wasn't listening enough mommy? And that in turn upset me because she was so excited for gymnastics class, and all I wanted her to do was enjoy herself and try something new. She was disappointed the car ride home. So.....Food for thought....the younger instructors may need professional education with softer "hand holding" approaches for the young ones and more patience even if they are getting frustrated and annoyed themselves. If she was 14, I get it, but she is only 4. She now doesn't want to go back.

Do you work with any charters for homeschool vendor funding, would you?

Hi! Currently we are not established as vendors for home school funds, however we are exploring this for the future!

Do they have a waitlist option? I'm interested in the tots (parent & me) class, but looks like they're all full right now.

Yes they do. You need to call the office and have them add you. First do the first free session to make sure it's a good fit. Then ask to be added.

Six months seems like a good time to really attest to the quality of swim lessons my sister has with Isabella, her swim instructor. We went in hoping with all our might that my sister would be paired with a good instructor who has experience with individuals with special needs. At the beginning, I tried to find reviews on specific instructors and times that worked best, and ultimately, with sheer dumb luck, we chose Isabella. That decision has been a very fortunate luck of the draw for my sister to have Isabella for her instructor. We had very low expectations for my sister's goal in learning to swim. However, with Isabella's guidance, care, compassion, and immense patience, my sister's progress has exceeded our expectations. Isabella is a wonderful instructor who embodies warmth, positivity, and is firm even when she brings on new challenges for growth, which is perfect for my sister. With her compassion and kindness, Isabella has managed to make major progress with my sister to allow swimming goggles to be placed over her eyes. For nearly all her life, my sister has hated being submerged under water, goggles over her eyes, or anything over her face, but Isabella has been able to change that and help my sister grow in less than a year. Isabella is efficient and effective as a swim instructor. Isabella offers a safe and welcoming space for her students, including and especially those with special needs. Waterworks Aquatics is lucky to have such a great instructor as Isabella K., whose technical skills are just as wonderful as her care and empathetic nature to her students and the family she works with. She deserves to be recognized for her work, kindness, and patience. I do want to mention, this location is a heated pool facility, with a separate play look, is kept clean overall, and the bathrooms are decent in cleanliness. Parking also usually isn't an issue. My only complaint, and this is regarding the application/portal, is that often from my use, it has glitched where I can't always find the specific instructor. I've had to screen cap and send this over so the company can work with IT but it has happened a few times now. This is more of a technical critique and not related at all to the instructor nor facility.

He loved the variety of activities and made so many new friends. He came home with fun stories each day. I loved that they offered a variety of options from 2 days/week to 5 days. However, we decided to pull him out for next week because of a very disturbing situation. He shared that a counselor had pushed him with both hands on his shoulders during a capture the flag activity. He had dropped his flag and was putting it back on when a counselor (he didn't know her name) pushed him back hard enough to make him lose his balance and fall. She also barked "you need to reset!" She didn't ask if he was ok or help him up. You'd think if this was an accidental push and he fell over she would say something like "sorry bud are you ok? Here let me help you up" but nope, not a word. A friend he's attending camp with witnessed the whole incident. Since I pick them both up in the afternoons they both recounted this situation to me and both of them noted how inappropriate her behavior was. I immediately reached out to Michael, the owner of the camp. He said he wanted to identify this counselor and get her side of the story. Understandable. My son felt uncomfortable going back the next day but I reassured him it would be handled and offered to drop him off in the morning and stick around to talk to Michael and the counselor. I wanted him to feel safe. Michael identified her (her name is Carson) and said he wanted to talk to her first, which he did a few feet away from me. I heard her say she didn't push him. They then walked over to me and she again denied everything. So we asked both kids to come over and recount what happened. They both did -- in front of her -- and reiterated she pushed him. She denied even touching him. So Michael suggests at this point that perhaps it was an accident and my son responds by saying "how do you push someone like that by accident?!" No response. So I ask her, are you saying these kids are lying? She again said she didn't touch him and at this point we send the kids away. I'm incensed because not only does she gaslight both of them to their face but tells this bold faced lie to her boss in front of the campers and me. I tell her I believe them and I think she's the one lying. At this point she gives me this dirty look - angry, irritated and almost rolls her eyes at me. I turn to Michael and say "and now she's giving ME an attitude?!" Unbelievable. In a follow up call, he tells me how good of a person she is and that this is shocking for him to hear but that she doesn't seem like someone who would do something like this...that she's getting her teacher credentials and he knows her really well. I am getting the vibe he doesn't actually believe any of this and he sounds very skeptical. I respond by telling him that it's almost always surprising when people exhibit bad behavior and that even teachers do bad things...that doesn't make her any more credible in my eyes. He acknowledged that. In fact, it's worse because I would be really concerned to have someone like that teaching a kid. Lack of empathy, accountability, and integrity. I mean, I think it's great he's trying to have her back but there are moments in life when you need to draw a line and act swiftly...these are one of those moments. Because ultimately, this impacts the reputation of your camp. I told him that it would be good to offer training to his staff in case this ever happens again in the future and honestly he sounded baffled and asked me to clarify...I said well maybe tell your staff not to give dirty looks to a mom who's clearly upset that her son just got pushed by a grown adult at summer camp?? I told him that the response to this situation could've resulted in a totally different outcome. Had she said something like "I really don't recall pushing you but if I inadvertently did and made you feel bad I'm sorry - I didn't mean to do that" - I would've went home that morning feeling fine about the situation. When I told him this he said that he's not going to police all her reactions, that she's still young, that she's still learning and made all kinds of excuses for her. Exhausting. Apparently she got a "warning" and will sit out of the flag activity (umm, ok...). He seems like a smart guy and wish him nothing but success in the future and I was earnestly trying to offer advice for how to handle a situation like this better but it fell on deaf ears. I really hope that some kind of learning comes out of this for both of them. Oh and to top it off, my son's friend told her mom that Carson was giving her looks several times throughout the day today and when she asked what kind she said "side eye" looks. NOT COOL. My son also said she was kind of mean to him but wondering why they were even in close proximity when Michael said they'd absolutely be separated and would not see each other? Validates we both made the right choice by pulling them both out. He offered a refund but I'm still pissed about the situation.
