She is a senior in high school on the volleyball team. During a group chat about jersey color selection, a player on her team was upset about my daughter's choice of color (blue). She makes a video on how much she hates Asians, and for my daughter to "get shot". Although this happened last season, my daughter has yet to receive an apology. Going into club, the same unapologetic teammate has been put on the same team. I am requesting our $1500 deposit back due to the obvious. Derrick made it clear he will not issue a refund. He called me delusional during our conversation. I'm sorry I am worried about my daughter's well-being, especially with an unapologetic teammate who hates Asians, was put on the same team, and practicing in a building next to the firing range. After calling me delusional, he ended the conversation with "good luck". The lack of empathy and disregard for my teen daughter's safety/well being from Derrick and staff is truly disappointing.

The layout is good, maximized for space. There's different options, with pitching machines, home plate/catching scenarios, etc. The place is well lit, and kept at a good temperature. Shoo up front to purchase gear and basics, and the restrooms are clean. In all I'm sure we'll be returning, and I'd certainly recommend the place. :)

They have a bunch of lanes for batting and then they also have a huge turf area where people can workout, practice pitching, and even do some infield drills (space permitting). Our son, now 14, has grown tremendously in all aspects, not just as a baseball player but as an overall athlete and young man. Our daughter plays D1 softball at UNO and her favorite hitting coach has always been Austin. He spent time with her weekly all through high school to help her improve her swing. She tries to get in a few sessions whenever she is in town. Austin is not only a knowledgeable and professional coach but he is a fantastic role model for players, both on and off the field. He always has our kids' best interest at heart and is able to motivate them to always stride to be better and work harder. Austin's positive attitude and leadership is respectable and we truly appreciate how our 3 kids look up to him.

Lyric and I have a blast running the homework drills that Coach Austin teaches us to do while we're at home so that we can always be working hard and practicing together and it brings us together as a mother and son. Coach Austin told me that it was a coach that he had that changed his entire life and his direction with baseball and I truly believe that that has been a game changer here for my son as well and I am very grateful to the skill set and the patience and the heart This guy brings to the table for these kids. If you got a kiddo that has passion for the game and wants to polish his skills and develop and grow I highly recommend reaching out to Coach Austin and getting into work it's worth it!!! This year we decided to put my son who is four and very hyper into T-ball to help him learn some discipline and make new friends and I could not be any happier. Coach Jack will work with you on scheduling for the lessons. We honestly don't know if Coach Jack's rates are competitive compared other baseball coaches but for the lesson your child receives in the amount of time, we think it's great value!

When I decided not to move forward, the response I received was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Instead of a respectful interaction, I was met with hostility I have not experienced before being told to "go f _ _ _ myself", that I was a "worthless pile of s _ _ _", and a myriad of other derogatory profanity-laced expletives. That alone raised serious concerns for me, especially considering this is someone working with kids. After looking further, I also noticed limited availability with scheduling and a relatively thin background compared to other coaches charging similar or even lower rates. There are many experienced instructors in the area with stronger credentials, better reputations, and far more professionalism. Parents should be very cautious here. Between the high pricing, limited accessibility, and the way a simple interaction was handled, this did not give me confidence that this is the right environment for young athletes. For transparency, I do have a recording of the call documenting the interaction if anyone is interested.
