I was told to call the morning of our travel. When I called that morning, I was told I needed a reservation. When I reminded the dispatcher that I was told to call that morning, he said he would have someone pick us up at the LIRR station in Garden City later that morning. NO ONE SHOWED UP. My Mom is 83 years old and was anxious about getting to this meeting on time (literally a 6 minute drive) from the LIRR. Understanding it was a little bit hard to get a reasonably priced cab right at the end of the concert I looked on my phone and I found Garden City Taxi and Airport Service. I got picked up in a brand new Lincoln town car and my driver absolutely did the right thing by me.
