One of our party got a concrete, I got an Italian ice/custard blender and another got straight Italian ice. All were pretty good although my blender didn't have the topping of strawberries actually blended in, just scooped on top. Maybe that's how they make it but I found it a little odd. Overall the food was great but....service was definitely lacking. When we entered we were the only people there but the employee was on a FaceTime call with 7 or 8 other people. She propped up her phone and they just kept talking in the background. She seemed like she was either having a horrible day or just hated her job. Didn't greet us, couldn't really hear her at all, seemed bothered that we came in at all. She was more interested in getting back to her call than actually helping. Again, treats were great but just given the poor interaction I don't know if I'd come back here.

This has made my whole year--this will be my first-ever review of a fellow Martian (yes, that's what we call ourselves) and his amazing juice bar in Miami, Exotikaz Wellness. How did I land here on this day? The hubs and I were craving something natural, no-added-sugar juices, bowls, and smoothies, and Exotikaz jumped to the top of my results. We were strolling through the Design District and thought it's a bit of a walk (about 10 minutes), but why not?! I'm so glad we did. The discovery came from his menu and drinks--the SXM Beach Cooler--and I thought, "Wait, you know SXM?" Not many know that's our little country code, and the Union was absolutely beautiful. Mario is an absolute delight to speak with. He's from the French side while I'm from the Dutch, but one island--and we recognize a fellow SXM'er when we see one--and I'm thrilled to have met Mario and check out his adorable setup. You'll find the freshest juice, smoothies, bowls, boosters, teas, and coffee in this neighborhood, all sprinkled with Mario's love to keep his menu clean, natural, and especially refreshing.
