    Uncooked pot stickers

We ordered takeout and when we got home were extremely disappointed in what we received. The fried rice, which is supposed to have peas and green onion, only had about 6 peas and no green onions. C'mon, how expensive are peas? The pot stickers were barely cooked, tho after they were heated up at home tasted pretty good. The spicy Thai peanut noodles were dry and not spicy. I am sorry to have to leave this review because I so wanted decent Asian food in Frankfort. Looks like I'll be waiting longer.

What an unexpected valentines treat! My partner and I head up to Frankfort in the winter each year and we were so excited to find a new spot to try. The boa buns were perfectly tasty and I need to know what's in the Rangoon sauce because I could drink it (& might have!). The only feedback we had was the lo mein could have been a bit bigger in portion but otherwise very tasty scratch kitchen Asian food! We heard the bartender talking about all the specials so we hope the place stays in business for the long haul- sushi at the beach is always a hit in the summer

Pad Thai, over cooked noodles, burned tofu and peanuts and everything was mushed and mashed together

Went back for lunch and brought my mom. We ordered the edamame, which was just ok. It had copious amounts of salt. We were wiping it off on the side of the bowl. Next we each ordered pad thai. Don't do this, it's the equivalent of a frozen entree pad thai you'd get at any grocery store. The noodles are severely over cooked and everything is mushed together in a creamy peanut sauce. Really terrible, the worst I've had at a restaurant. My mom took hers to go and threw it out in a garbage can a few stores down. It was truly awful. The young boys working in the kitchen were loud and yelling at each other while turning up their radio and blasting music that you normally would hear eating out. They kept yelling really loudly to each other. I'm all about having fun at work, but be mindful especially if the kitchen is open and guests are seated where they can see and hear you. We won't be back, this is the third try and two times out of three the food was below sub-par. I really wanted this place to take off, but with the inexperienced kitchen staff and the lack of hospitality I think this place will close in a couple of years, at most. This industry is tough and I wish them the best.

Love the enclosed patio space here. Recently opened & started solid. Kind service. The food is good, I recommend trying the boa buns. The citrus chicken was very good & they split the portion for us. :)

If you tried this restaurant a year ago, try it again. Spider Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Ramon. Really good

Szechuan Stirfry was okay - sauce tastes bottled. Crab Rangoon was great but the sauce was not good at all. I would not order here again.

Villa Marine Bar is the place you visit if you want cheap drinks and a beautiful view! My husband and I visited two nights in a row and didn't leave disappointed. They had a drink special for a pomegranate margarita and it was delicious! I also tried the blackberry margarita and no complaints. I've never had a drink from the Villa Marine Bar and questioned if there was alcohol in it because you test it instantly haha. The staff at the Villa Marine Bar are friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was new to waitressing (she told it was her first shift) and it was amazing seeing how patient everyone was with her. She was awesome and even remembered my group the next day when we visited. I was able to try the popcorn chicken during my first visit. It was okay but as I mentioned earlier, you go to the Villa Marine Bar for the drinks. Most of the people I observed were there for the drinks. The view of the marina was lovely. I visited right before the sun started setting so it was nice to see the color change of the sky.

It appeared to be a sports bar and restaurant from how it was decorated and the TV sets playing Tennis. Our server seated us, quickly took our drink order and got our breakfast menus. I ordered the Two Egg breakfast (eggs over easy, Sourdough toast) and my wife got the Big Breakfast, (eggs medium) which she wanted for the pancakes. The meals took a while even though the place wasn't busy. We soon found out the eggs had been switched. Her's were easy over and mine were medium. So we switched the eggs. My easy over eggs were not fully cooked before they were flipped. My wife's medium eggs were cooked perfectly. However neither egg dish was salted or peppered while being cooked. The pancakes were perfect however. Light, fluffy, and delicious!' She shares one with me and I agreed, delicious, light and fluffy. Her hash browns were not cooked except on the surface. Mine were cooked nicely. However again the hash browns were not salted or peppered during cooking as far as I could tell. All and all the food was good for a breakfast place and the serving sizes were adequate for what we ordered.

Unfortunately it's under new ownership now and they've ruined the place. The lighting is now harsh, the food quality just isn't there anymore and the service is rushed. Oh, and the place was empty on a Saturday night! We will no longer be patronizing Dinghy's. There are too many other places that are better.

My party suggested we stick around for dinner too, which I wasn't going to object to. I wasn't surprised to hear that we'd have a 35-minute wait on a Saturday. The staff was very accommodating and offered an empty room upstairs to wait and pass the time with some games. We asked if we could order some cocktails, and luckily the answer was yes. We placed an order with the hostess, and she brought those upstairs. Later, when there was a Shirley Temple spill, staff was gracious and whipped up another drink right away. Hospitality deserves five stars alone. What else deserves five stars? The cocktails of course. I had two "hotties," which were perfect with the wintry weather...and smart thinking. Who really wants a cold drink in January? The menu is simple, and much of the food is locally-sourced (huzzah). I vegetarian-ized the Christmas Dinner pizza, and it needed the saltiness/fatiness of the sausage. Still, I'll give points for creativity. Four stars. I get destination vibes from this spot, and I know I'll need to return in the summer months for the most optimal experience...but I was overall impressed with my winter trip. Five stars for Iron Fish Distillery!
