I came in for highlights and left with significant hair breakage and a salon that refused to take…read moreaccountability. My biggest concern wasn't that the highlights weren't what I asked for. It was the processing. While half of my head was sitting in bleach, Maria stopped my service to wash, blow dry, style, and check out another client before returning to finish my hair. As a result, one side of my hair was exposed to bleach substantially longer than the other. I initially noticed breakage while my hair was being brushed and blow-dried at the salon. After washing my hair at home twice, the damage became even more obvious, with the bleached sections continuing to break off. I contacted Celia after seeing the extent of the damage. Rather than investigating my concerns, I was repeatedly told my hair was only in bleach for 30 minutes. I asked her to review the salon's camera footage to verify the timeline, but she refused and continued insisting my hair was fine despite the ongoing breakage and photographs I provided. I was offered a treatment even though management already knew I live out of state. When I requested a refund instead, I was given multiple conflicting reasons why one could not be issued, including being told that "the bank does not allow refunds." The damage to my hair is upsetting, but the complete lack of accountability, refusal to investigate, and dismissal of my concerns were even worse. If something goes wrong with your service, don't expect management to take your concerns seriously.
