I returned to the store and the technician (I did not get his name) worked diligently to fix the issues and was successful. He ended up replacing the camera part (pictures were blurry after the battery replacement) without charge. Simutek wanted to charge me $150 to replace the battery and instead I paid $75 at GW. I was surprised when they said that they use Apple parts, but my phone detected non-Apple parts. It is working fine and it is an old phone - so I imagine I'll be replacing it once it completely konks out.

Gamer's Warehouse is the most unethical, dishonest, and abusive company I have ever been unfortunate enough to do business with...if that's what you call this. You charged me for a service you did not perform, removed my phone's battery without my knowledge or permission (theft by conversion) and you returned my phone in a completely inoperable condition. You didn't even have the decency to tell me you removed the battery--I only discovered that after taking the phone elsewhere and attempting to charge it. I couldn't even take it anywhere else at that point to have the service done (although IFIXIT at the Tucson Mall stated that could easily transfer the data using SmartSwitch if my phone's battery had not been removed) because you removed the battery. Your response attempts to shift blame instead of taking responsibility for your actions. The facts remain unchanged: I paid for a service that was not performed, my phone was returned completely inoperable, and I was never informed that you had removed internal components from my device. Consumers deserve honesty, transparency, and competent service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Gamer's Warehouse. When I first went into the store, around 2 PM the salesperson said that I could get a particular brand delivered the next day because, rather than Best Buy having to ship it to me, the model was in stock at the store and the Geek Squad would just bring it with them. I wasn't prepared to make an immediate decision so I asked that if I came back later that day could I still get next day delivery. The salesperson and the section manager said that if I got back before 5 chances were that I could still get delivery the next day, I got back to the store around 4 and since I already filled out an order I thought I'd be all set...NOT THE CASE. The salesperson convinced me that I would be better off financing my purchase interest free instead of paying cash which is what I had planned on doing. While filling out the information for the credit I apparently hit a wrong button when I put in my social security number (that's on me) but I was still approved for a $5,000 line of credit. At least that's what I thought. When the salesperson finally did whatever she had to do to submit the order (I thought the order had already been submitted) the lender, CITI Bank, said that there was a mistake in my social security that had to be corrected. Remember my initial plan was to pay cash. My salesperson called Citi Bank so we could correct the SINGLE number error and finish the transaction. After hold times and being transferred to wrong departments at CITI when we got to the right department it took all of 2 minutes to correct the social security number error. Unfortunately because of all the waits and being transferred to wrong departments it was now passed 6 and when the salesperson was finally able to submit the order I was informed that I could no longer get delivery the next day and there was nothing to be done. At this point after over 2 hours I was so frustrated, all I wanted to do was get a TV, I just left. I thought about canceling my order but I hate shopping and a cancelation at this point would be cutting off my nose to spite my face. Best Buy will have this sale but it is the last sale they make to me and I've been a customer of theirs for years but it's obvious that Best Buy really doesn't care about satisfied customers. I'll be sharing this story with not just Yelp but anyone who'll listen. Keeping my fingers crossed that the installation will go better than my purchase experience.

When we entered we immediately noticed that we appeared to be the only guests there on a Sunday afternoon. There were a ton of employees in each section of the store. The store is similar to a BestBuy with the addition of baby items, furniture, toy section and perfume / makeup section. There is also a small children's play area (so parents can shop). It appears to be a more rent to own type of store where you can open a store credit card (there a section of the store set up for financing - like a bank with a row of desks next to the micro cafe area (and the children's play area). In each section of the store you are greeted by an employee eager to sell you something and help you apply for store credit. Most of the staff are very friendly. I was surprised that with 4 employees of the beauty section - no one greeted us or offered assistance. I did some price comparisons in the baby section and their prices were comparable to Amazon and Walmart's prices.
