Getting my 40 year-old home ready to sell, I invested in a major renovation to update. The entire concrete back yard, side yard, driveway and garage were in dire need of a power wash. For the 22 years that I lived there, it had never been done. Years of leaves, flowers, droppings from a 130-year old walnut tree, 15 cypress trees, an orange and lemon tree and another flowering tree had done a number on the concrete. The space fillings between the concrete slabs had deteriorated and full of debris. The garage floor was greasy and dirty and stained. An old metal shed had been removed from the side yard and left a deeply engrained dirty outline. I was down to the wire before a scheduled open house the following weekend when I decided to invest in power washing.
SLON to the rescue! When I placed the call to discuss the job and the urgency, they were there within a couple of days to provide a VERY reasonable quote. They were also available to perform the service within the same week!. Needless to say, there was a lot of activity in the hustle to put all of the finishing touches for the Open House.
When SLON arrived promptly to do the work, I was a half hour late getting home to meet with them for the appointment. (I had already moved out of the house). They were very gracious and, so efficiently, had already begun to set up for the job while they were waiting for me. I was so impressed with their professionalism. The truck was considerately parked in front of the driveway so as not to intrude or disturb the neighbors. Their power wash equipment was state-of-the-art and not too noisy. They worked tirelessly throughout the day, taking meticulous attention to details, edges of the building and doorways, nooks and crannies of old concrete. They were careful to mention to me that the new coping around the swimming pool had not yet fully cured and, as such, took extra caution in the area surrounding that new surface caulk. On one side of the pool, the concrete walkway was so narrow and yet, they still were able to avoid damaging the fresh caulk for the new pool coping. When their work was completed, a thorough walk-through was conducted to make sure that I was satisfied with the results. YES!!!!
