They are a corporation that has to meet quotas so they charge and arm and a leg for procedures but they Won't let you see what the charges until after the bill is paid. i asked not to do something to my dog when I was there and they proceeded to do it anyway and then except you to deal with it no consequences on their behalf. The office people are so rude one time I tried calling there and they put me on hold but answered the phone to answer any questions I had. The girl Melissa that works there stole from another vet and then went to this place to manage it and she steals from the till that's why they charge people outrageous prices so that way Melissa can pocket the money. My advice is to stay clear away from this vet most horrible place and people I've ever been to.

Caring for all my little ones at a very very reasonable price, Which i appreciate as a college student. I love her staff and how accommodating they are to my furbabies. My youngest was so scared he was even brought his own tablet with cat shows. I was impressed and will never go anywhere else. Not to mention, when i adopted a kitten the things she prescribed for ear mites, tapeworms , and fleas all worked within a week. I had no other problems and nothing was spread to my other cats. Becky was sure to send me home with enough for the other two as well. The new office is very clean and inviting. There is enough space for cats and dogs of all sizes. I was impressed by the amount of exam rooms, operating rooms, surgery and test labs. I love that she always tries to calm the animals WITH NO DRUGS if possible. I am very holistic person and my cats have always responded to herb and oils. She always trys a calming spray and help of owner (if possible) to get things done. Safe, sound, and resting peacefully (Pictured below in her favourite spot). Note: We were able to snag someone's cancellation by calling on Monday. Otherwise, it appears appointments are a month + out as of 3/2022. Intake was amazing as staff met everyone coming in that day at the door and assisted with initial paperwork. Our kitty was just past her follow-up shot regimen for rabies and distemper, which the clinic provided at a minimal cost. Overall, our bill was just over 90$ which included nail trimming/capping (10$), shots, spaying, pain medication, overnight stay, as well as a microchipping fee (25$). This is far, far less then the range of prices we were quoted at other local animal veterinarian/hospitals. (Anywhere from 250$ to 1050$, just to *spay* alone.) Although a bit of a drive for those living in Hiawatha/Marion/North CR, the cost and level of care make it worth your time. If you choose to utilize IHA for your pet healthcare needs, please be sure to add a little extra when you pay to help keep this local non-profit going.

Ever since I have taken Macho to Cedar Heights Pet Clinic my pet receives the greatest treatment. Macho goes there frequently for bathing because he loves working with the vet techs and the groomer.
