Immediately was greeted when I walked in. I signed up for the quiet Gong healing meditation. It was the day of the full moon and I needed a more calming vibe and I'm so glad I did. She told me what "supplies" we needed (we used two big heavy pillow things, two blankets, two blocks, and my own mat). I never knew yoga could utilize so many things but it was fun! We only did 4(ish) poses besides the warm up but the time flew by. And they felt so good and relaxing. The room was dark with fun lights. It was so pretty and so peaceful. Heather explained everything perfectly. And had some pretty great jokes. It was a really good, lighthearted, calm way to end my day. If I manage to get finances together, I'd love to do a membership here. Only con - parking is hard. Not much around there and no lot. But it's Noho. Just gotta prepare for that.

IT DOESN"T MATTER IF IT'S DISABLED!!!!! IT SHOULD NOT BE STORED ON YOUR WEBSITE AGAINST MY WILL -- PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally after writing them repeatedly they removed my bank card information. This is after them telling me numerous times I could remove it myself. THERE WAS NO WAY FOR ME TO REMOVE IT MYSELF. THAT IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want my $35 back. I just want to share my gratitude for this studio. After having experiences at other studios where…read morethe business ethics honestly weren't great, it's incredibly refreshing to come somewhere that truly cares about their clients. I can't say enough good things about this place. In my opinion, it's one of the best studios in LA. The instructors are amazing, and the management and staff are genuinely kind, professional, and supportive. One thing I really appreciate is how clean the studio is. They ask everyone to remove their shoes at the door, which shows how much they respect the space and the dancers. I've been to studios where people walk around in regular shoes on floors you're expected to dance on, and it just doesn't feel right. Here, you can tell they take pride in keeping the environment clean and safe. You can truly feel the difference when a studio values the people walking through their doors. It makes me want to keep coming back every time.

I really did want to like this place. I've taken several classes and done several "open pole"…read moresessions after deciding to do the lowest tier membership that they offer that includes the unlimited open pole. I am someone who is brand new to the pole world but very motivated in trying to engulf myself in the sport. I come from a bodybuilding background where I found that the community was always very supportive and encouraging. There is zero community here. Everyone seems to walk in, and then pretty much run out of each class. Open pole is full of women of different levels of expertise, but there is an unusual sense of judgement that is impossible to shake if you're new. I don't come from a choreo background, so maybe that's where I'm falling short in the classes. I found myself to get very flustered quickly and didn't feel a lot of patience or encouragement from the instructors, for myself or for others. It seemed like the goal was always to get to the end of what the choreo is supposed to be, so you can use the remaining 3 mins of class to scramble trying to remember everything and practice while the instructor gets lost in themselves flawlessly going through the choreo that everyone else was still very much struggling with... and then that's it! Class ends. After leaving 2 classes in tears because I felt so defeated, I decided to pay more money to get private lessons elsewhere and THAT is where I fell back in love. I am now looking at just buying a pole for my apartment so I can practice at home in peace. Really sad that this didn't end up being the place I thought it was going to be, I feel like pole is a truly beautiful art form and having it be such a woman dominating sport, I guess I was hoping for some more love to the newbies.

To sign up for classes I used the phone app to reserve the bikes which was very quick to do. Shoe rental is $3 if you need to borrow shoes for the class. Before last night I had done one sweat cycle class with Yelp so this was my first real class and I felt so welcomed. When we arrived staff was soooo nice and helpful getting my friends set up on their bikes and helping me make sure that I had set mine up correctly. The room was so hot and humid that I felt like I'm in a tropical jungle. When class started everyone cheered and welcomed my friends and some other people who's first time it was and even the girl next to me gave me a high five and was so excited to meet me. I really loved everyone's happy and excited energy which definitely helped keep me pumped and moving. Being quite out of shape I can get self conscious about being new at something and slower at it than others, but everyone is so kind and uplifting! Latosha was very motivating while giving easy to follow instructions. The music is quite loud but I was able to hear her throughout the entire class. If you've been eyeing Sweat Cycle, I recommend just signing up for a class and just trying it! If you feel like it's getting too hot or you need a break, all you have to do is click out of the bike and go outside to get some fresh air and refill your water at the water station. Several people did this and then returned when ready to jump back into class. Listen to your body and have fun.

So glad I took the leap to join the Brickhouse family. Such a great environment and an amazing community of people who love to train and work hard. The classes are fun but they also offer a variety of workouts according to your interests and skill level. The coaches are all top notch. They push you to elevate your skills and endurance. The space is super clean, cute, and welcoming. Everyone we encountered, including the people working out, was friendly and helpful. The front desk staff walked us to our class and introduced us to one of the trainers, Malik (who was AMAZING!). We instantly felt comfortable and at ease. The trainers helped us wrap up and guided us through everything. The class itself was challenging, but the energy and motivation from the trainers kept us going--and we felt incredible by the end! They were patient and made sure we had the right technique, especially since it was the first boxing class for one of my friends. We genuinely had such a good time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend checking this place out! Bonus points for the women's bathroom--it was super clean, stocked with feminine products, and had lockers. Love the attention to detail!
