I appreciated that this place took the risk and still served the public. For that reason I remembered them and came back today. My visit this time was for a gel manicure. I wanted a change of pace so I drove south to Visalia this time around. The place itself has a home feeling and the hospitality is incredible. My nails are cutesy and the amount of time spent with cleaning cuticles, filing, polishing, and massaging was stellar. I never felt like they just wanted to rush me out the door. I got the Royal Pedicure and skipped the callus removal, so they kindly deducted $5 and gave me extra massage time instead, which I loved. They have great massage chairs too! Hanh (pronounced "Hon," like Han Solo ) did my pedicure and was so friendly, professional, and attentive. The whole salon had a welcoming vibe and everyone communicated really well. They quoted me a short wait and I was seated in about 15 minutes, even with only three technicians working and all of them busy. About half the time I receive the full 10 minutes, and the other half it feels closer to 6 to 8 minutes. I realize that may sound minor, but when something is specifically advertised, I expect it to be consistent. It is less about the time itself and more about the expectation that is set. Overall, I still return because my experiences here have been better than other places I have tried in the area. With a little more consistency, this would easily be a higher rating.
