The parking lot is great and there is two parts to it so there is plenty of room to find that perfect spot! This is one of the locations that people come to vote at depending on where you are registered. I do typically take my dogs here from time to time just to have time to run the big fields and feel free from the world! They love it even though it is not a dog park but I have a whole gang so we make our own fun lol. The old building is still in use. The old building also has a children playground, tennis and basketball court around it. If your kid is signed up for leagues there you may be utilizing both buildings. Everybody is so friendly and welcoming- including the members, front desk employees, fitness staff, maintenance, etc. I spent several years working out at a YMCA, and the UMCC's facility is very similar to the Y that I went to. I'm originally from Virginia, so I really appreciate feeling closer to home. You have the option of working out in the fitness center, attending a group fitness class, playing pickleball, playing basketball, etc. I would 100% recommend the community center!!
