I've been in as both a delivery driver and for my parents. The staff are pretty nice either way. I've seen Slim Chickens in several places but finally just tried it for myself. The parking was great at this location and the inside is clean and inviting. Just like most places these days, the counter isn't always manned, but you don't have to wait crazy long for attention. I thought the mobile ordering was intuitive and left me with no questions. A couple of gripes are that I'd like a live status of my pickup order and I'd like the option to pick up in the drive-thru, but no biggie! LOVE the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich with a spicy filet. My parents liked the tenders really well, but thought less intense version of the garlic parm sauce would be warranted. The fried okra made my Southern roots smile and the friggin' potato salad tasted amazing with the smokey bacon. Fried pickles with the ranch will always be winner too. I haven't been here in a while, and I was really looking forward to it. Came in for some chicken and waffles. I can't even believe how small the chicken tenders were. Three scrawny little chicken fingers. And by that I mean, not much bigger than the thickness of my finger. Food was lukewarm. Not likely that I will return here again after I've seen the quantity become so inferior since I came here in the past. My friend had a chicken sandwich which was also very small. Came here for a quick lunch and I love the new menu item of saucy nugs! I got the 10 piece meal tossed in honey BBQ with ranch on the side and wow was it good! I devoured my food but it's plenty so I had some leftover. Having the nuggets tossed is a game changer for this place! It's like a boneless wing but crisper! Came back but a different location. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted immediately by staff. Food was really good, seasoned well, and their sauces are really good. There are so many options. I have 4 stars because the chicken sandwich was lacking their cayenne ranch dressing. I added more, but it's still really good. We ordered from Grub Hub and it was pretty decent. We got a chicken sandwich and noted the chicken breast was not as thick as Chick-Fil-A, but the flavor was good. The bacon strips on the sandwich were "pathetic and not worth it." We also got the Buffalo Mac and Cheese. The chick was awesome! The Mac and cheese was good...very creamy. The brownie was "good, but Betty Crocker is better." The quotations are direct quotes from my boyfriend. Will definitely order here again. read more

We drove by and decided to try the new fast fried chicken restaurant Slim Chickens. Carol took our orders and was VERY friendly and took time to explain and make recommendatios for us. My mom also wanted brownies for to go but Carol recommended getting it for free by filling out the survey on the receipts. The fried chicken was amazing and they have a lot of sauces to choose from. Carol said our meal only comes with one sauce but came to check on our table and offered us if we wanted to try any different sauces. We tried ranch, Garlic parm, and honey bbq. All 3 sauces were so great we had hard time which one to eat our next bite with. Our meal also comes with toast. We got full quickly with such a big chicken tenders that are soft and juicy, we ended up getting to go boxes to eat as a second meal. Fried okra was very good also. This is defenitely our new favorite fried chicken to get and we will defenitely return. read more

Was looking for something new to try so here we are...and won't be back. Went through the drive-thru; ordered the 3 and 3 and fried mushrooms, got to the window and was asked to pull into space 2 where I proceeded to wait for 18 minutes to get my order. The 3 and 3 is 3 wings and 3 tenders: the wings were tiny and so over fried and dry with barely any sauce. The tenders were okay, not terrible but not great. The fries were soggy and cold. The fried mushrooms were small but fairly good but clearly were cooked with the fried pickles as I had tons of random coating in the box. Not worth the time or the money as this order was almost $22 dollars. read more

I have been to Slim Chickens in Falcon, CO 3 times. Today was not a good service day. The young lady at the register ran my card multiple times, and told her manager (?) that my card was declined. She did not mention this to me. And it was declined...after it ran the first time. He told me it was declined and asked for another card, I don't have another card. I asked him to double check as there is no reason for it to be declined. He would not check, just said 'it says transaction declined'. I looked at my bank app and the payment was pending. I showed him and he still did not care. And still had not returned my card to me. I only had $10 on me so had to take off an item. I asked again to look at the machine and check that it isn't already paid for. He did not look. I asked if he could print something out that it was declined. He said he could not. He said I could call if it did go through and they would refund. I asked how anyone would know I was telling the truth when I have no paper trail showing the $17.85 was declined and I paid cash (have that receipt). I ended up calling my bank and they confirmed the $17.85 was pending and not declined. So I have paid twice. My bank will resolve it but will take awhile. Update- bank has refunded the payment. Not impressed with service. Food- tenders are ok, fries are good, didn't care for the mac n cheese, really like the chicken sandwich. Today the Dr. Pepper was flat. I've been here a few times and am always disappointed with the service. They always forget part of my order. I live just far enough away that it's not possible for me to drive back to get whatever they forgot. I went today and ordered a meal and a dessert. They gave me the wrong drink. And they didn't give me my dessert even though they charged me for it. So managers, If you read this, how can I be compensated for this mistake? Tried Slim Chickens for the first time. Great place! I love the ambiance of the place. Clean and organize. The service was great, fast and welcoming. The food was great too. Got the 3 and 3 plate. Korean bbq chicken wings and 3 tenders, they are perfectly cooked. My hubby got a mac n cheese and he said it was delicious. Crispy fried pickles are cooked fresh and the serving was generous. We got home and my husbands meal was missing a whole tender, fries tasted old.. you'd hope after waiting that long your food tastes good. Called the next day and spoke with the manager, Travis and he said that I was being "Preposterous," basically called my husband a liar. As we walked in Ryan welcomed us with a warm smile, he took our order and made recommendations for the items on the menu. He was very helpful because it was our first time, we got our food and it was absolutely delicious we were so happy. Our daughter missed a step and had a scratch on her knee, she was crying and Ryan gave her a band-aid, and a brownie, he made her day! Went in for the first time. Ordered chicken tenders al la cart and two drinks. (Our bad, we didn't check the receipt until our order arrived over 20 minutes later.) What we got was wings, fries, and texas toast. When we checked the receipt, that's what we had been charged for. The kid offered to remake, but we were short on time and elected to keep it. The wings were really dry and over cooked. While we waited several people questioned the time it was taking for their orders and the cashiers kept apologizing to them.
