Originaly we were all supposed to meet in Piedmont Park for the 50 minute sessions but because Cobb County was closer for all of us, our instructor (Kwazi, who is a doll!) was willing to change the location so we all didn't have to get up at 4:45 am for our 5:30 am class! Each of us had a pre-assessment which was then posted on our own personal Amelle webpage which included our BMI, measurements, weight, etc. It then gives you a goal to achieve based upon the results and what you're looking to get out of the program. They then follow up with each invidual to review the results, etc. Most importantly, I felt really comfortable working out with Kwazi. It can be intimidating signing up for a "bootcamp" when you're not in great shape, but she made us all laugh and feel comfortable with our bodies. She pushed us HARD, but without being aggressive or angry. I like her approach which seems to be that everyone's body is different and each individual person needs a unique plan to help them succeed in their health and fitness goals (we each got our own individual work out plans to print out from our website based upon our one-on-one review after the pre-assessment). In reponse to the claim that Amelle is "very unprofessional," I cannot fathom why they would warrant that opinion - I didn't get that at all. Kwazi always followed up in a timely and professional fashion with us and was always easy to reach via e-mail, text, or phone. I really can't imagine why someone would say that the people at Amelle are "unprofessional," but who knows! Our final session is in two days (and we'll do our final assessment then), and I've already made plans to continue training with Kwazi. My friends and I loved the bootcamp - money WELL spent!
