For a group of 3, it was almost $50. It is better than wild waves but not much better than other pools, I feel like. There was a long line to get in but it moved fast. The kids played till about 6pm. The kids have to be a certain height to use the slides. My little one was disappointed. Parking was easy cuz I got there early. Lifeguards were on duty and paying attention.

Not only do we live 6 minutes away, but it's nestled next to the aquatic center so parking is a breeze. Since this is a newer spot, everything is pristine and modeled very well. The bathrooms are spacious and clean and a good spot to change your kids into dry clothes after they're done playing. The splash pad itself looked small at first, but it really is a good size and my kids spent THREEE HOURSSS here and were asking to stay when it was time to go. They had a BLAST! There is a good deal of covered umbrella tables with chairs, as well as a couple large picnic style tables. There is also a good amount of lush grass perfect for setting up blankets and towels. As a toddler mom, I also appreciate that this place is SUPER fenced. There is obviously a small opening at the entrance, but other than that you don't have to worry about them having easy access to the street at all. They have two cabanas that are rentable, and each one fits about 10 ish people. They are covered and have comfy seating. My kids had so much fun here that we decided to book both cabanas for my son's August birthday party. There is a refundable deposit attached, but the fee itself is $75 for the DAY to rent (11am-5pm). Definitely an affordable price tag if you're looking to come here with a guaranteed covered space for the day. They also have a small "splash snacks" walk-up counter that has things like light snacks, sunscreen, and slushies for sale. I would say the only thing I noticed that I'm surprised they didn't add was a water bottle refill station. You could of course just use tap water from the bathrooms, but if you're not a fan of that, plan to bring lots of extra water. I see lots of days at the splash pad in our future!

It's huge, clean, almost all the way fenced in, and plenty of different spray equipment to keep kids entertained for a long time. I was the only one here with my kid on a weekend morning (which is fine by me!) but do hope this wonderful splash pad gets a lot of use from the area kids and families.

I competed at the King County Aquatic Center (K-C-A-C) during high school as part of my school's…read moreGirls Water Polo team. The diving pool and main pool that we competed in were all deep. In Water Polo this means no rest during a game because there is no ground within reach to stand on. Games here were thoroughly taxing in terms of physical exertion. Bleachers/seating overlook the pool and are well-tiered so that one can see the action in the pool pretty easily and the athletes are not too far away. The locker rooms are a bit on the small size for how big the pool(s) are/facility is, but in my experience they have been well maintained. Water temperature here was kept lower than other pools I have competed at. Specifically the temperature hovered around 78-79 degrees Fahrenheit in the main pool, it was slightly warmer in the diving pool/dive tank. Most of the pools I have swam at have been kept at about 81-85 degrees Fahrenheit, so swimming and competing in the pools here meant moving fast to stay warm. I did turn black and blue I got so cold some times though. One perk of this was getting to crank the heat in the car on the way home to get warm again after the water polo games.

Right away, our swimmers faced filthy bathrooms, an incredibly cold pool, a dead scoreboard, and broken diving boards. Things took a turn for the worse on the second day when the meet was abruptly canceled due to a broken pipe. For a major facility, an event cancellation like this is almost unheard of. It is sad to see such a beautiful, historically glorious venue falling into this state of disrepair. If I were a King County taxpayer, I would be furious and demanding some serious accountability.

Someone helped us in the beginning, but unfortunately she made a mistake by not giving my child her…read morewristlet. This caused us to spend extra time going back and forth trying to contact their dad to provide proof of payment, since we had forgotten that the purchase had already been paid for and no receipt had been given or emailed to us. It was very frustrating and time-consuming because this could have been easily avoided if the wristlet had been given to my child at the beginning. The employee explained that she didn't see my child because she is short, but I don't feel that is a reasonable excuse. We were literally the only people in line at the time, so there really shouldn't have been any confusion about what was purchased or what needed to be given to the kids. Thankfully, the manager or last employee we spoke with noticed that I was upset and apologized, which I appreciated. I was there so the kids and their dad could have a fun experience, and it was also my opportunity to shop for the kids, so it was disappointing that several extra minutes were spent resolving something that should have been handled correctly from the beginning. Overall, the staff member at the end handled the situation professionally, but I hope more attention is given to these details so other families don't have to go through the same unnecessary hassle.

Of course there are standard trampolines but there are also plenty of foam pits to jump into and things to jump from. My child's favorite is the dodge ball area. The balls are super soft and she loves to jump and throw the balls with friends. She has recently been exploring the jungle gym area as well which allows her to climb and swing. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. Another thing I like is that the older kids are pretty respectful of my child and watch where they are going. We have had some near misses when kids were a bit boisterous but they have always stopped to say sorry which means a lot to me.

I showed uo early (10:30a) just to find out it opened at 10am. HOW DO THE EMPLOYEES NOT KNOW THEIR HOIRS OF OPERATION. Also, the recommendation I offered months ago about having a separate line for members and was in-place was not longer happenings. Regression is a terrible thing. Move forward not backwards. This is the first time I have been to this establishment I live in Gig Harbor and my daughter and I go swimming there 3 times a week since she was 8 months old. She has passed the swim test at six other pools. My daughter asked the Lifeguard if she could go into the deep end to do jump and swim, the lifeguard said that she could be there if I was there with her. This area is 5 ft: deep my daughter can tread water and swim on front crawl and back crawl freely for over a year now. After jumping and swimming approximately 20 feet to the other end of the deep end with me about three feet away the pool manager rushed out and yelled at me "if she can't pass a swim test then she can't be over here" and quickly scolded the Lifeguard who had allowed us in without offering to do a swim test. How could you consider this appropriate behavior to treat your staff and to treat your customers? To any managers of this location who read this message do not contact me do not attempt to get me to remove this rating you absolutely deserve this one star rating.

They have a splash pad/very shallow area for the littles, 2 different sections of deeper water, the DEEP area where they alternate diving and free swim and a whirlpool. The pool is heated which can be a little weird on hot days but was mostly fine. My parents would have loved it since they get cold easily. Our little one was allowed to go in either in her floaties or in our arms. The locker rooms were clean and large and I appreciated the family rooms that are available. I only wish we lived in Fircrest so we could get a discount to use it but we love it all the same!

The beds I would say are passable but not the most comfortable (I'm spoiled), and the building has clear signs of aging but everything was maintained and clean. Whoever prepares the rooms for check-in - seeing the end of my toilet paper somehow elaborately folded into a flower and then using it to wipe for the first time? I have many a magical photo of daring sunsets taken from the high hill view. Down below is seashore accessable from rickety stairs. Not too much down there. Fun to hunt sand dollars -There are many at low tide. Beware, though, of the marihuana enthusiast who generously share their fowl smelling fumes. And the trashy kids that loiter in the parking lot and fornicate in their vehicles... Sad stuff. No judgement.
