Back in July, I stayed here for a quick in and out of the Seattle area. I just wanted a place to…read morelay my head and shower. Jumped at booking a room when I saw they had availability was in close proximity to a few venues I had to be at. Also because of their rates. Arrived for a late check-in. No problems. No problems with parking either. Didn't care for the fact that the dumpster area was overflowing with trash. And walking up the stairs to my room, there were a few younger adult males smoking weed. Room was clean and pretty spacious. One king sized bed - enough room to put a second. Typical budget hotel with vanity sink area and a separate shower/toilet space. Water pressure wasn't to my preference but the temperature was nice and hot which made up for it. Standard hotel quality towels and toilet paper. Bring your own soap and shampoo unless you don't mind using the mini soap bars that are probably best just used to wash your hands. TV didn't work the first night but if you know me, you don't know I don't really watch TV. But I wanted some background like white noise to help me fall asleep. Brought this to the attention of one of the housekeepers the next morning - when I got back from Day 1 activities, it was working. During my stay, the room was not tended to. Not that I really needed it as I was only there for two nights however, I got sick and had filled up the room's trash can with tissues and other things and that would have been nice to have been cleared. But nothing a foot smash didn't solve. Rooms aren't soundproof. Not that I'm expecting total silence, but you can hear people walking to and from the adjacent rooms. I could hear people talking and their TVs in the next room, albeit muffled though. I don't remember hearing much traffic but certain sounds I do tend to ignore without even trying. Check-out was smooth and simple. Walked in and handed my key cards in and walked out. I had gotten my copy of the printed receipt when I checked in. Would I stay here again? Probably not. For the negative reasons I mentioned and because it's located in an area that I wouldn't have found myself in without a reason.

Overall, the hotel needs a remodel/upgrade. Our room smelled stale and like pee. The bathtub was…read morestained dirty. The pool water looked dirty and has so much chlorine it burned the eyes with just one splash. The TVs were cable only, not smart TVs so no connection to the internet to stream other platforms like Netflix nor connect a game system like Xbox to. We had to use our hotspots. Lastly, the walls are thin and the appliances in the room randomly make noice.

Also, we only got the Comfort Inn for your hottub. I called to make sure it would be operational for our visit a FEW times before the day we came and was constantly assured it would be. It wasn't. Also, breakfast wasn't kept up with. We sat in the dinning room for almost an hour as we were told repeatedly that eggs and sausage would be refilled as many others complained.l among themselves. Then two large containers of milk also ran out before we finally got yogurt, which I was told had been out quite some time. Still no sausage. I asked the front desk twice over the hour+ when we could expect more milk/eggs/sausage (the majority of breakfast short of the waffles). There was no rail for the curtains? They were ethically fake and had to stay open 24/7 with another behind them that didnt fully close. Bright light right in the fave just so long after dawn. Creeper guy wandering the parking lot, coming just short of asking my bff and I for elicit favors right in the front of the hotel. We didn't know him in any way. I feel cheated of my staycation. There are nicer hotels within walking distance for around the same price. The only real saving grace was the two front end hosts that were there. Cool people, good personalities, doing their best, and just repeating what they've been told by corporate to say. You could tell pretty easily. I will not be returning to the Comfort Inns, and I will be leaving scathing reviews on every site I can of my experience. Thank you for ruining my special event.

Hope your stay is better than mine. I stayed 3 weeks. I felt like I was on pins and needles…read morealmost every time I walked in front of the reception desk. The young people don't know how to meet and greet. When I I asked a question it was always answered with NO. Never, let me see what I can do. The young people seemed to dislike seniors. They could not smile as if they are practicing the no facial expressions Kardashian way. The MANAGER has the same style. She never said Hi the whole time I was there. I wondered if the young people were her kids. I would NEVER recommend this Holiday Inn. I is no vacation. No simple human interaction. In fact, one evening the POLICE were there. I believe the receptionist pot stirred an unnecessary conclusion and made someone very mad. The more mature men were sooo nice. House keeping staff was sooo nice and did good work. Again, Manager and *her kids are unbelievably cold shoulder.

Maintenance and ground crew were friendly. I will not go beyond that. I made the trip to WA to help my daughter who was going through cancer treatments. I chose Staybridge because it was close to the necessary transfers I had to complete during my stay. I was very specific about the room when I made the reservation and was told my requirements COULD BE MET (simple request - ADA COMPLIANT room that could accommodate 3 people. They had a room with a king bed and I very specifically asked if there was also a sofa bed - told yes. NOT TRUE!). I was moved to another "ADA compliant" room that did have a sofa bed - only thing was the room was NOT ADA compliant. It was then suggested that we move back to the original room and that my daughter, her boyfriend, and I could share a bed. Um...no. 8-day stay in a supposed ADA compliant room, $2,003. Never again.
