They couldn't get them to us. They wouldn't even let us pick up the five used pillows that were on the floor model since we had been waiting and dealing with empty promises. They offered to have us exchange some of the pieces of our set just to get the pillows which they probably would have tried to give us pieces of lesser quality and that would have required me to lose another day waiting for them to deliver. Mind you that my original day of delivery they didn't show because "their truck broke down"! What customer service! Just putting it out there so if you're going to spend $4k, I would think twice about this place

Mattress sags and causes back pain--…read more We bought a private label organic mattress 10 years ago. We have followed the rotating and flipping, which temporarily will provide relief from back pain. Since the mattress is still under the 20-year warranty, I attempted to address the issue of sagging by appealing to the manufacturer, through the store. While the store was helpful in facilitating the process, the manufacturer ultimately said it wasn't sagging enough (only 1 inch of sag). Apparently, a mattress must sag for 1.5 inches to be covered under warranty. I will have to buy a new mattress. And despite trying to be earth-conscious, I will be sending the mattress to the landfill a decade earlier than expected. I am disappointed by this purchase on many levels.

I've probably sat on every…read morecouch, testing every dining table & met every "designer" in every furniture store in a 20 mile radius. What I've learned in this adventure is that you'll run into "designers" at each of these places, and 9 times out of 10, they are not the kind of people you want designing your home. Enter Ethan Allen. A place where the designers are actual interior designers. They will not stalk you around the store unless you ask. And while I always had the impression that Ethan Allen was really expensive, it's not any pricier than any other of its competing brands. Are you going to find a $400 sofa here? No. But we've found a good mix of quality and pricing that has made it worth it to spend a little extra. Plus they make a lot of their furniture right here in the US of A, and I'm willing to spend more for that. We've been working with Ardith Huesz for about 6 months now. We made our first order in April (for an entertainment stand), and shortly after it showed up, we placed an order for a custom sofa to be delivered this fall (custom upholstery takes forever, no matter where you go). Ardith is great; she has a good sense of space & color, which has been a great help in trying to fill our new construction, white walled home. She's also not afraid to tell you what would look good in a space, even if it's something she can't sell you (she recommended a dining table set look that they don't carry). After our entertainment center was delivered, we had her bring out textile samples to help us pick out a couch fabric, as well as for general advice on how to proceed in furniture our home. So we love Ardith. We love the EA delivery team (the friendliest, most efficient and most careful ones we've met). And we'll definitely be back for another piece once our new couch comes in.

Let us get to the point...customer service...non-existent. How the customer service rep at this location has a job is beyond comprehension to me. We had an issue with a factory defect in our recliner, which it took 3 months before they found a 'match' to replace a section of leather on the arm. Out came the 'repair man', who did a wonderfully terrible job, at which point we demanded they take the chair to their warehouse or wherever they take it to get it right. They did...after a month of waiting. 2 1/2 months later we finally received the recliner back with the new piece of leather on it...it looked good, or so we thought. There was another defect in the leather! This was beyond visible to the eye, but still somehow passed QC and was sent to our house. Now we have a call and email into the customer service rep and the store owner to contact us immediately, and still no response, not like this is a surprise or anything. So, we paid almost $2,000 for a chair and have had it in our house for 2 total months even though we ordered it 10 months ago...and it's still not right!! There's more, but I think I've gotten my point across. Ethan Allen may have great furniture, but DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! Or if you do, don't say we didn't warn you.
