Unfortunately, the sales experience was not what we expected. We were greeted by a salesperson and began having a normal conversation about what we were looking for. However, the interaction became uncomfortable when we were asked about our price point before we really had an opportunity to explain our needs. When shopping for a mattress, we were hoping for more guidance, someone who would take a few minutes to understand what we were looking for, explain the differences between the mattresses, and help us narrow down which options might be suited for us. Instead, we felt more like we were expected to determine where to start and what to compare based on price point. We understand that every customer shops differently, and we certainly don't expect a salesperson to know exactly what someone wants immediately. However, a simple conversation about sleep preferences, comfort, support, and what we are hoping to find would have made a big difference. This review is about our experience during this particular visit, not a reflection of the entire store or its selection. We actually thought the store had a lot to offer. We simply left feeling that in-person shopping experience did not provide the level of help and guidance we were hoping for.

Between reading through endless online product reviews and trying to find the perfect softness that my body enjoyed was quite the task. Just like most people I woke up one morning with a stiff neck, shoulder pains and my back was all messed up so I decided the time has come to retire my old mattress. I came in to Levins Strongsville location off of Pearl Rd clueless of what I wanted or what I needed and met this incredible guy named Jay. He literally helped me identify exactly what I needed after I told him about my problems. The great thing about Jay is that he wasn't a pushy salesman. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive mattress. He took his time and listened exactly what I was looking for and what type of budget I was working with and from there he went in with his recommendations. Of course I decided to splurge on myself and ended up selecting a Stearns and Foster mattress based off of their reputation and their incredible 10yr warranty you get when purchasing a cover. You know you're adulting when you get excited about waking up with less aches and pains! So we set up a day for it to be delivered which to met surprise was 3 days later! The next morning I woke up at the excitement of getting a new bed and decided I wanted to purchase the same one for my parents since they were also complaining about neck and body aches and figured since I couldn't afford to buy them a house the least I could do is invest in really great mattress for them for Christmas! I arrived early in the morning and the location was closed for another hour. There was a guy inside who saw me and came to the door. His name was Matt. He was super nice and gladly helped me place another order for my parents mattress. Zero attitude. He didn't point at his watch and tell me to come back. This is the type of service you will receive at this store. Both Jay and Matt have incredible customer service skills and you feel super comfortable investing in a new mattress. Moral of the story is I've discovered my perfect comfort level! On Levins scale its a #4! I decided to go with Stearns and Foster Cassat Plush mattress. If you are in the market for a new mattress GO HERE!!!!!!! I promise these guys will take care of you!!!!!! What you will get is 100% professionalism and incredible customer service!

When I came in the lady there gave me such a pleasant greeting that she already started to calm me a bit. We were trying to get information on a replacement mattress for an RV. She showed me mattresses in her discounted clearance wall. She removed it and put it on a frame for us to try. As we spoke she continued to get information from us. She would start to show products according to our needs. We placed the order and had mattress delivered in a few days. I've not tried the mattress yet, but I can't wait. I have to disclose that I am being bribed to do this, but that's ok because I am not above accepting bribes. Also, following sentiment is still genuine. I ordered a bed from this store, changed my mind 57 times, laid on all the beds for many days in a row, and changed my order another 35 times. In the end I ended up with a big fancy bed that I still haven't figured out where I want delivered (it's like weeks later it is just sitting at their warehouse). The store manager, is absolutely a joy to work with. He is infinitely patient and knowledgable about the products in store. I have been to all the mattress stores in town and so far this is my favorite. Glad they are here. Stop by if you need a bed! I'll get mine delivered soon.

Our salesman Tim went above and beyond to get us the living room furniture set we wanted. We have a…read morerelatively small room, 11'x18' so we had to special order a couple of pieces and when the pillows changed on the sectional we wanted between our in store visits, Tim found the original pillows we wanted before we left the store today. It took my wife and me a long time and several stores of comparison shopping before we realized that Levin was our best option. No high pressure sales tactics, they let us wander the store the night before our eventual purchase for several hours with a tape measure, with Tim available to answer questions whenever we needed him. 1-Star Review -- Think Twice Before Buying a Mattress from Levin Furniture…read more I strongly recommend that customers think twice before buying a mattress from Levin Furniture. My first mattress developed a dipping/sagging problem. I contacted Levin, they inspected it, and eventually replaced it. Unfortunately, the second mattress has developed the same dipping problem. When I contacted customer service again, I was told that I have to pay $54 just to have the mattress inspected. What is most frustrating is that Levin Furniture is essentially the middleman between the mattress manufacturer and the customer. Many customers may not realize this when they make their purchase. When something goes wrong, the customer can end up dealing with the manufacturer's warranty requirements and additional inspection costs. I am very disappointed after having the same problem with two mattresses. My advice: Before buying a mattress from Levin Furniture, ask exactly what happens if the mattress dips or sags, who is responsible for the problem, what the warranty requirements are, and whether you will have to pay inspection fees. Misleading Return Policy and Poor Communication…read more I visited this store to try out several online mattress brands. The owner was helpful and recommended the blue Winkbed model as the best option among the ones I was considering. I specifically asked if I could return the mattress after the 30-day trial period, and I was told yes. Inside the mattress box were marketing materials from the manufacturer clearly stating a "no-hassle 30-day free return policy." After 30 days, I contacted the store to initiate a return. The employee who answered couldn't help, so I called the number listed on their website under "Contact Us." I was then told that only the white Winkbed model was eligible for a full refund--not the blue model I purchased. This specific detail was not disclosed at the time of sale, despite my direct question. In fact, the owner discouraged me from buying the white model due to quality concerns. The paperwork stated, "reselection only," which I was told was added for transparency--but that term is vague. Why not just call it what it is: an exchange? To make matters worse, the owner commented that I had reached his personal line on his day off. How are customers supposed to know your schedule? And if you don't want to be contacted on a personal line, why list it on your website? Ultimately, I was allowed to return the mattress, but I had to pay nearly $700 plus a $70 pickup fee. Overall, very confusing and I felt misled and disappointed. The store did not honor the manufacturer's return policy and relied on unclear paperwork instead of honest communication. Buyer beware: Don't fall for flashy mattress brands that spend heavily on advertising. If you want quality and transparency, purchase from a manufacturer with a long history in the industry who produces mattresses that are not compressed in a box. You're better off going straight to the source or choosing a local company like Original Mattress Factory. I wish I had and saved myself money and stress.

We started out with end tables, then lamps and keep going back. Just purchased new living and dining room yesterday, so excited to get them. The movers were professional and caused no damages to the furniture or the studio when they brought things in, definitely worth the price to add movers! Still getting great use out of the bed and dresser. The other day, I found a sleeper sofa that still looks pretty good (a little wear but no tear!). After looking up the sofa's original new price, the Bank was selling it for only a tenth of the price tag! The woman who helped us was very sweet and patient and allowed me to test out the mattresses on several before choosing. I have movers scheduled and am hoping/anticipating good service like last time. Again, still worth the $125 moving service!
