Back when we went to check out mattresses the store manager was again very helpful. She even reminded us to take off our coats as we don't sleep in them. We were encouraged to try several mattresses. My husband and I had been…read moreputting off upgrading to a king-sized bed because we were so sure that it was going to be a pain to shop for one. We had braced ourselves for a long day possibly full of disagreements and detailed discussions about things like firmness, brand, financing, delivery, etc. OMF was the first and only place we went -- and we walked out the door happy within about 15 minutes, total, our new mattress delivered and set up and ready to be slept on in less than a week. Ryan, the store manager, was a delight to work with, giving us all the info we needed but never upselling us or pressuring us. He answered all of our questions, anticipated some that we didn't think to ask, and left us to make our own decision without a watchful sales eye (I hate when places keep an eagle eye on you while you try to figure things out!) I loved that they don't have a TON of mattresses to choose from -- just a few, locally made, on a firmness scale so that you can easily determine which ones you think you want to try and which ones not to bother with. We went with the second firmest option, with the springs, and a frame without a headboard (though Ryan let us know that they can pretty easily be attached later, if we want to buy one from OMF or elsewhere). Our mattress and bed were delivered the next weekend. Communication was easy and helpful, and the guys who made the delivery were speedy and skilled, navigating our narrow staircase without a single ding or dent in the walls. Our new bed is SO COMFORTABLE, & we absolutely adore it. Can't recommend OMF highly enough!

To start the appointment he discussed the differences in ours and theirs. I am not really sure what company the comparison was against because other cabinets I looked at were very similar to northeast factory direct. I then felt pressured to pick the exact cabinet selection. He said they had off the shelf and then more custom cabinets and he made it seem like I couldn't change my mind. I had a design layout and then he proceed to recreate it in his system even though I asked him to offer his own ideas. I just left feeling that no personalization was made to the process. Due to thr nature of the furniture (USED), some of them are worn out and old but still in good enough shape.
