The bed is a treasured family antique that is 100 years old and is a ¾ bed on which we were using a full mattress. What we wanted was a queen box springs and mattress. A standard-size queen mattress is 60 x 80 inches which is too long. The Original Mattress Factory produces many special-sized mattresses. In the selection is a Short Queen with a diminution of 60 x 75 inches which would be tight but would work. At our reception at the Reynoldsburg store, we were warmly welcomed. During our discussion about sizes, we discovered that they make mattresses locally. Due to this, they could remove one row of coils to produce a short queen mattress that was 60 x 73.5 inches, which was ideal. Because our mattress was a custom build, two weeks were required for the manufacture. The delivery was outstanding in every way. What might have been a stressful purchase turned into a joy, plus we got exactly what we were looking for.

They apologized and said they would come and clean it up. I was surprised when the manager knocked on my door a couple hours later with his van and loaded it up. He apologized profusely and explained that they typically don't remove people's old beds but maybe they were trying to help my elderly neighbor and weren't thinking through everything. I don't get this level of service when I'm a paying customer, much less when I'm just calling to complain about something I didn't purchase. Next time I need a mattress I'll look here first.

His knowledge and kindness led us to not go to other stores. The purchase went smoothly and Kyle provided the process where we would be contacted and provided a date for delivery. Surprised to learn it was only 3 days post purchase. We received a text providing a 2 hour window. On the date of delivery, I received a phone call from the delivery team that they were running early and asked permission to come earlier. John and Andre were great to work with. They removed the old box springs and mattress, vacuumed the carpet and dusted the bed and woodwork. A great team. I would go to SleepOutfitters again. High recommendations!

We had a severe problem with the mattresses while still under warranty. They sagged badly and did not keep their shape with no one on them. We both got bad sleep and aches and pains in lower back, shoulders and hips. I had to change position so often I told my wife it was like trying to sleep while on a rotisserie. We called the factory and found out their warranty is nothing more than a dirty joke. They sent a "dude" from the factory who showed up with an "I'm not going to warranty your mattress" attitude right from the moment we answered the door. I laid a board from the top to the bottom of the mattress and showed him with a ruler that it dipped where you would lay by several inches. He said "Yeah but it doesn't dip ENOUGH". He would not say how much it had to sag before they would warranty it. I showed our receipt, the warranty and the failure of the product. NONE OF IT MATTERED. THEY JUST WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY NO MATTER WHAT. Our only choice was to file suit at a high cost to us or chalk it up to being ripped off which is what I feel they counted on. As a result they screwed us on the warranty even though it had not expired, we had our receipt and their product clearly failed. We had to go elsewhere to buy a quality mattress to replace the trash they sold us. WE WLL NEVER BUY FROM THE ORIGINAL MATTRESS FACTORY AGAIN.
