You've got to know what you are there for! It's a scavenger hunt! I've picked up some great things and made some great buys at Ollie's. True some of their prices on things aren't as low as you might expect but just pass those by if they don't appeal to you, or if you feel they are too expensive but just a few of the things that I have picked up recently are books for the price of three and four dollars when they're still being sold for 20 and $24 on Amazon, a really nice bathtub length bath rug for $15 that sells in the stores for 35 or 40, and my best grab recently was a pair of Betsey Johnson sunglasses that I snagged for $3! Don't count Ollie's out just because you didn't find a good buy, they are there you just have to hunt for them and that's part of the fun. I'll be going back there soon because I love their book section and if I have any question about the book I just Google it while I'm in the store and find out what the current price is at other locations, and nine times out of 10 Ollie's price is better than most. They also have some great children's books and I'm a firm believer that more people need to read to their kids so go pick up a couple of two dollar books and read your kid a bedtime story tonight. Oh another item that I got that was a great buy, was a water meter for my potted plants it's the exact same thing that sells for $9.99 elsewhere and I got it for .99 cents, then after making sure it worked properly went back and bought six more. My plants are very happy with me right now. Ollie's also has a variety of canned goods that are priced very reasonably rather than what the grocery stores are charging so I always go there first before I hit the grocery store to see if anything on my list is available there. You've got to learn how to work it and have an open mind. Now get up off your arse, sieze the day and go buy that book to read to your kid tonight!

Customers beware!!! My wife purchased a lift chair for me after the quad bypass operation. The…read morechair looked like leather but was a plastic coating over fabric. When the warranty was still in effect I had to replace two controllers and the chair back was replaced one time due to flat thin layer of plastic membrane that looks like leather peeling off. In actuality it was peeling off all over but ffo said they would not replace anything else and don't call them. The chair was relegated to unused status in a spare room. When I needed the lift function again due to a knee problem the ffo chair failed once again this time catastrophically. The lifting mechanism what channel that connected the lifting arm and the base was exceedingly poor quality and shattered during use. It was broken when we opened the box. She was being very unprofessional and rude and quite honestly making a scene for no reason. Then, she hands it to another lady, which was nicer but also very unprofessional. She tried to fix it for us but lost one of the pieces to and handed it back and proceeded to tell us to just try and fix it ourselves because she couldn't see well enough because she didn't have her glasses.
