This hotel is conveniently located 25 miles from Springdale, where you can catch the shuttle to visit Zion National park.
We chose it because it's in Hurricane, the closest city to the start of an ultramarathon organized by Vacation Races. There were a few other runners who were also staying at Sleep Inn.
The rooms are spacious and provide a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The free breakfast included eggs, potatoes and sausages, which is not bad for a budget hotel.
There is a gym, an indoor pool, and ample free parking.
My only complaint is that this hotel seems to cut costs on housekeeping. You have to request it, and even if you do, communication between the front desk and the cleaning crew does not always work. On one occasion, we returned late after dinner to find the room was not clean. This has been a recurring issue for us in other hotels, and I wish we could know in advance, because I will try to avoid them as it must be a problem for housekeepers who are paid fewer hours as a result.
Overall, it's a good place to stay if you don't mind the housekeeping issue. read more
