BUY YOUR NEXT VEHICLE FROM HERE!!!…read more This is a REAL review from a REAL buyer (July 2019). If you're like me, you've only purchased vehicles from big dealerships backed by a big brand name. At first, I was reluctant because this is a smaller family owned dealership. Not because of anything they did but because it was out of my norm. Well, let me tell you, I have had the best car buying experience here VS any other huge dealership that I've ever done business with. I am currently purchasing a used 2018 F-250 from Jay with Go Automotive that I found on CarGuru.com. Jay has been awesome to work with, answered every question I had promptly, and WAS NOT PUSHY. This was very important to me because I live an hour and a half away from the dealership. I had a number questions before I made the drive to Wilmington, NC. He even gave me his PERSONAL number on the first day we spoke. I didn't speak with 3 different people and have to go back and forth with each of them. Jay took care of all the leg work right away when I decided to move forward with the purchase. I feel as though he was straight up with me at all times and did not feed me a lot of false empty promises. Also, he got me a interest rate that was way better than I've ever had with a big named STEALERship. I will be back to purchase all of my company vehicles from Jay/ Go Automotive in the future. Thank you Jay! https://www.goautomotive.com/

We were on vacation from the salted north in the Wilmington area. While I was there I was hoping…read moreto find a rust-free replacement for my pile of rust chips. We spent a few evenings cruising car lots in the evening after they were closed. We wanted to avoid the flock of car salesmen vultures that tend to descend on you before you even get out of your car. We decided to bite the bullet and stop by Bruce Cavenaugh's Automart during the day to check out a van we liked. To our surprise there was no flock of vultures, not even a lone vulture. We were able to give the van we liked a thorough once over before we even talked to anyone. Right at the point when we could either drive a way or go find someone, Matt came out to meet us. Instead of the high pressure dodge-ball game I was used to, talking to Matt was like talking to an old friend. He asked about our goals and budget and then offered a test drive. After a drive we sat down and got right to the bottom line, no theatrics, no messing around. Matt got us down to our budget and even gave us more that I expected for our junk. The next morning the check engine light came on in the new van, it showed a fuel vent problem. I took it back and Matt sent me right to the shop. They knew I was leaving town and could have appeased me for the day but they went the extra mile and replaced $140 worth of parts to make sure it was fixed right. All this to say that I'm extremely impressed with everyone at Bruce Cavenaugh's Automart and Matt will be my first call next time I'm looking for a vehicle even though I live 700 miles away. Oh, and Matt even checked on us to make sure we made it home without any more problems from the new car.
