Such a sweet shop! She sat me down and we chatted for about five full minutes about what I wanted. She did an amazing job - she continued asking if lengths were short enough, to my liking, etc. I definitely like that she said she would rather keep trimming than taking too much off Pricing is very fair, especially with such great quality. I recommend Brittany very highly!!

She's incredibly knowledgeable about color, with an eye for face-flattering cuts I've never experienced in all my years of going to salons in NYC prior to moving up here. She was very easy to talk to and had new techniques for my wavy hair. She also had a new technique to cut my layers. That's a level of service I've never experienced before and I've been to quite a few salons. I'm impressed and will be returning.

Annie, who's done my mom's hair for a decade I believe is the sweetest person ever! Definately the kindest person there. The receptionist, while lovely, was very forceful about trying the Voesh Body Lotion on the desk while I waited for my stylist, even after I said "no thanks, I just applied my own". She then wanted me to try Amika hair & body mist- which I already own and didn't want any more on. I get it's part of their position, but it becomes uncomfortable when I'm repeating myself saying "No" five different ways. The front reception area (right when you walk in- first area you see) & to the left where the TV / product wall is was very dusty, faded photos and advertisements taped to the desk, it just didn't look kept up. (It was enough that I noticed, looked around to see other employees at their stations on their phones and wondered if that was acceptable to do when the salon isn't clean) The stylist at the first station on the left gave me a really nasty look when I walked in and sat down, and brought that up to my stylist because it just seemed...weird. As for my hair, Annie absolutely nailed it. Being it was my first visit with her after looking for a new stylist, I wasn't sure how that would go, but being my mom is VERY particular about her hair and it always looks fabulous, I took a shot with her and am going to return next month. I had a full head highlight done, on long hair, with a cut & dry. Annie took her time, but was very efficient, absolutely lovely to talk to, and knows the profession well. She did exactly what I was asking for. I can put the dust, faded taped up photos, nasty looks, and "try me! Pressure" aside for Annie. 100% recommend her. She's a hidden gem in the local area, and she's my new stylist and I'm so happy to know whenever I go to her, I'll come out feeling fabulous!
