But it was super important to me-I've been planning it for a year to commemorate the passing of my fur soulmate, my best friend & constant companion of 14 years, Sparky. I just wanted the simple Picasso dachshund-nothing fancy. I wanted it small with thin lines. BH was my artist, he took me seriously, took time with me & made sure we were on the same page. We were lucky enough to work with Homer, and he absolutely made the experience. He brought such a fun, lively spirit to the whole process and immediately made us feel comfortable. The conversation flowed easily, the energy was light, and he somehow balanced being entertaining while still being completely focused and professional with his work. Most importantly, his talent speaks for itself. The lines are crisp, the detail is clean, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of what he puts on someone's skin. When checking the pricing, she kept looking at her phone but would quickly lock the screen before I could actually see the breakdown. Later, I checked online and saw the front piece listed around the $170 range without tax ( they don't tax you at all after purchasing). Even if the back was an additional charge of $15, it still seems like I may have been overcharged by about $5-10. After I left, I called to ask about the pricing and was told the back post was not included -- which was never explained during the purchase. What also wasn't explained is that the back post itself is not gold either. Had I known that beforehand, I honestly wouldn't have purchased it because I have seen both the front and back in matching gold for around the same price. Now I'm stuck with a mismatched jewelry piece, it's not actually fully gold, and it's probably final sale. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of transparency regarding both the pricing and the jewelry details.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. I scheduled my appointment directly with Moe and he kept in constant communication up until the day of the appointment. Yes the place is very laid back and provides a very chill calm environment but it's also very clean and accommodating to everyone that walks thru the door. Can I mention how clean and cool the bathroom is? Listen women look at these things it's in our DNA sorry. That being said, because we were a group of 5 women (some nervous some excited all very talkative individuals) it definitely took a while for Moe to get to everyone yet at no point did he show any signs of frustration with us or acted like he was trying to rush us out the door. Moe took his time and did absolutely beautiful and clean work. He freehanded several of the tattoos to the liking of each of us. Oh and he also made sure we had water and snacks while we were there. I don't know about you, but I can say with complete and absolute certainty that this certainly not the typical tattoo shop that I've been to. Good service is a rare find these days so when you find it...you keep it. These people that are complaining about losing deposits...I'm not sure if they understand the concept of deposits but reading their complaints makes no sense...deposits protect the business from people booking appointments and not showing up...if the artist tried to accommodate them at a later time and they still didn't wish to schedule their appointment then that's on them. The experience and work we received on our visit 2/2/2023 was horrible. I have uploaded photos, which I also sent to BK hoping for some response or willingness to make it right. Total cost ended at $3,400!! If the work reflected the "top artist" work we were promised, I would not blink an eye having to pay that. However, pictures will show the work provided was subpar and did not follow stencils and pictures properly. How we have been treated after spending that type of money and traveling across the states does not reflect the "family" aspect portrayed through their social media everyday. Very disappointed and I will no longer be referring friends/family here.
