I'm very picky with artists i want to tattoo me ! I'm from California & came to visit my sister and she had also wanted a tattoo. Since it was her first, she was nervous . We looked at a couple places online , called one , but i felt uncomfortable and like that place wasn't for us. So i continued my search and found this cute little studio. I messaged Remy from yelp and he replied almost instantly. Got us in the next day. I had already planned out to get THREE tattoos , which is a lot for going to someone that you don't know. But once we got there , the vibe of the studio was so cute , artsy , clean & private ! Remy also makes sure to take his time with your ideas and insure that you get exactly what you want . Which is important since it's going to be on you... well.. FOREVER! Also, since it's by appointments only , you get the privacy you normally don't at the normal tattoo shops . So it was a nice change ! And great if you don't like people hovering over you! My sisters first tattoo experience couldn't have been better . And I already had about 6 tattoos before coming & I have to say Remy is my favorite tattoo artist so far! I highly recommend checking this place out ! Really nice shop and Jeremy is a great artist. Steady hand and straight lines. He also works really well with my schedule and is always professional, which is nice for this industry. If you're looking for a professional studio that's always clean and accommodating then this is the one. Update #2: Remy is a true artist! My chest piece masterpiece was completed yesterday and it is stunning. Multiple techniques were used to create a piece personalized just for me. I gave him uninterrupted artistic expression and very glad I did. Moving forward, he's the only guy that will drill ink into my body. Thank you, Remy. I'm extremely satisfied. Update: Remy completed the outline yesterday of my rather large elephant face with mandalas. It's absolutely stunning even without shading and color. For starters Remy's tattoo studio is amazing! It feels more like art gallery versus a tattoo studio. The vibe of the studio is so relaxed, chill and happy, just like Remy!! This is by far the best tattoo studio I've ever been to. His passion is for black and white tattoos so he's really good at that. I just finished running my first half-marathon so to commemorate that, I decided to get a small 13.1 put on my foot. It's a small and simple tattoo but Remy did a great job!! I had been coming up with ideas for a potential first tattoo for years, and when an idea was finally meaningful and beautiful enough for me to decide on the design, I had no idea how to choose the right tattoo artist. After looking at Remy's website and learning that he had opened a studio literally across the street from my apartment, I decided to go for it. The entire experience was top notch. Prior to the day of my appointment, Remy helped me refine my idea with several versions of it he sketched, and took time to understand and meaning behind the design so nothing would be lost. The studio was clean and welcoming. He had some of his artwork hanging on the walls (line drawings, water colors, and a blank canvas that was set up for an oils project), a 90s music playlist, and Lord of the Rings playing quietly on a small screen. I was very nervous, but he was knowledgeable and professional, and made me feel very comfortable. He has been in the tattoo business for so long, and knows the cleanest, safest, most comfortable way to do things, from the needles, to bandages to the chair you sat in! I got a 3x3 b&w, it took about 2 hrs, and was $100. While getting it done, my fiancé who already has several tattoos was looking up tattoo inspiration to have Remy work on him too!
