I came early so there were a lot of dollies being worked in the floor but that made the isles crowded and hard to move around. I was at the store for a while getting everything I needed and as more time passed it was even harder to move around. The cashier that checked me out was very fast and made the transaction easy. Overall, this is a good store. I give 4 stars because the prices were higher than I expected. Compared to where I'm from, everything in the store costs an extra $1.50. It's not a terrible mark up but I definitely spent more money than I feel I should have.

I don't know if it's being overly fried or if it's the brand of chicken they are now using. I noticed that they don't sell individual pieces any longer which is not an issue if it's good. Today I did, and I'm glad I did. I was informed that they had cherries at a very low price and I was very pleased to see not only were they a very low price, but they were pretty quality berries! I purchased fresh cherries, grapes, dried pears & lightly salted popcorn. This the was definitely a neighborhood gem as I watched a lot of the community members come in-and-out especially the elderly population. The people that work here appeared to be very friendly and kind & know their customers well. The only thing that I will let people know in advance is this is one of those places where you are supposed to bring your own bags/ boxes for packaging which probably is helping keep the prices down low and we appreciate that. Also if you have any interests in grabbing a cart, you have to pay. I didn't catch the price but it looks like it may have only been a quarter. Please believe that bags, boxes and carts will not keep me from coming here because I can carry everything in the store in my arms but I thought was important to share. Very well stocked. All of the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Even the Pepsi vendor that was there was willing to answer question about a Pepsi product I was looking for. My mom was even able to find a few things that she had been looking for in other grocery stores for months with no luck. The prices were about the same as Giant. But if you download the app, there are a bunch of great coupons for at least $1 to $10 off a ton of items. This location of Eddie's is not my favorite. Parking can be very hard to come by, the garage is tiny which means it can take a bit of time to get in and out of it. I also haven't had the same luck with on a whim cake purchases that I've had at the other location. Eddie's emphasis on local means I can usually find Wild Bay kombucha, Zeke's coffee and Taharka Brothers Ice Cream. Their selection is decent so it meets my one stop shop needs. Eddie's has a decent selection of gluten free and vegan items. It also has snacks and crackers that I can't find at other places in town. I usually peruse the aisles to see what is being offered. I don't always buy but I always look. I also like to peruse Eddie's bakery. With an assortment of artfully done cookies, cupcakes, muffins, tarts, the bakery is definitely a sight to behold. The things that we have purchased from them are done well. Eddie's is a great local grocer and I will definitely continue to visit for my local and special occasion needs. The prices keep it from being my regular grocery destination.
