Great brewery with lots of terrific choices of drinks... and not just beer. They also have ciders and the best slushies in any brewery in the entire county. You can get a flight to try more than one flavor of their massive list of choices. There's also a stand up fridge with non alcoholic beverages as well. They do have a Happy Hour with terrific deals on drinks and snacks. They also have delicious food made in house. We had the Gouda bacon burger - delicious! Also had the meatball sub and that too was tasty. Saw several people chomping on a massive soft pretzel that looked amazing as well. They also sell ice cream from local place (Brooms Bloom). Lots of snack options available for purchase. The service is great and they do a fabulous job with serving you quickly and they are knowledgeable of their offerings. You can get a sample before committing, but I highly recommend the flight option as you can try things you may have never thought to try. There's ample seating inside the main brewery taproom and they have a secondary enclosed room out back. They have a great selection of live music - check their socials for info. There's also a large tent for the warm weather with picnic tables. They do have some games and outdoor seats without shade. The popularity of this place may require them to acquire an additional tent to provide more seating. This is for sure a wonderful place that has excellent options for food and drink. It's nice to have a comfortable space to perch and enjoy the scenery and the company you are with. They do sell merchandise to help support and spread the word about this WONDERFUL brewery!

This place is off a long road. It's a nice place for families to bring their children and pets. The atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. The drinks are good. The boom boom shrimp wasn't exactly what I expected.

Bacon Gouda Burger and Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese.

I had the bacon goida burger. Wife had the Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese. These were both outstanding on their own. A side of the best onion rings I've ever had and paired with a hazy ipa finished nicely. The wife enjoyed the lemon/lime sour which had a bit of sour to start with a sweet finish. We will definitely be asding this to our places to come back to!

Have always loved coming here. Tons of drink options. Food. And they keep expanding the outside. Today, we listened to a super cool local band - Mean Season. And the Mexican Caliente stout was on point!

Was a great visit among family and friends. look forward to coming back again soon. Also also a very beautiful view of the surrounding

First time visitor and this place was a treat! I came for a local plant swap that was held in the heated tent outside,( it's so easy to reserve a place for events)gave a great view of the rolling hills. My flight was hand picked by my server noted in the below pictures and she was so helpful and knowledgeable about the surroundings areas. I'm not a big beer drinker so she suggested the slushies which I saw to be a crowd pleaser tall colorful glasses filled with red and purple drinks. I also enjoyed the coffe mixed with butter beer will get again for sure. I also wanted to try something I saw no one else ordering the boom boom shrimp. I was expecting something different 12 fried shrimp on a bed of fries with a bit of sauce drizzled on the top nothing too special, I do want to try more of the menu that consisted of jumbo mozzarella sticks, grilled cheeses, and more. They have a well stocked condiment station with something for everyone. This place is somewhere you can bring the whole family including the dog, they have games, tours, and plenty of fresh air.

Soon as you enter Slate the taps are to your right. Lesson learned, the line for ordering isn't by the door. Once I figured out logistics for ordering the folks behind the taps were pleasant and helpful. They allowed for sampling and offered advice. Today was Sunday and we missed live music events which are on Saturdays. Great venue and from Rt 136 you don't get the appreciation. Great Fries but the drinks were wonderful. Daughter had a Strawberry Chocolate slushy that should be illegal it was so good. I loved the Scally Red & Kiss me I'm Irish stout. Hope to frequent again soon

We had ridden the Strasburg Railroad earlier…read morein the day and were looking for a place to eat when I fired up Yelp and found the Tavern by Spring House Brewing. It is located on East Main Street in downtown Strasburg. The inside consists of a large main room with an L shaped bar, a number of TVs, and then a second dining room off to the side. Since no one was seated in the second room and we had twin four year olds with us, we chose that space. Unfortunately the TV in that room was broken, so we were not able to watch the Steelers game that was on. Aside from that, the room itself had a cozy and slightly eclectic feel. There was a decorated Christmas tree lit up in the corner near the staircase which gave the space a warm seasonal vibe. The walls were decorated with brewery signs and beer themed banners, and a bright yellow decorative mantel stood out against the darker wall colors. Overall it felt casual and welcoming and worked well for a family dinner. For dinner on this evening I went with the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak while my wife chose the K Town Mac Bowl. The menu described my wife's dish as three cheese cavatappi pasta with smoked pork slaw, Korean BBQ drizzle, sesame seeds, and scallions. My sandwich was described as smoked chicken, American cheese, buffalo sauce, gorgonzola, onion frizzles, ranch drizzle, and a hoagie roll. I thought my sandwich ended up being good, especially since it was chock full of chicken. The hoagie roll was toasted and buttered nicely and added a good crunch, which the onion frizzles helped reinforce. The gorgonzola added a nice pungent pop of flavor. While I did get some buffalo flavor, I definitely could have used more. Because of that, the sandwich was a little on the drier side despite having cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch drizzle. My fries were seasoned and had a nice texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Spring House Brewing, a flight consists of four beers and I chose the Cucumber Salamander, Backroads Shadows, Daily Planet, and Love and Rockets. The Love and Rockets ended up getting mixed up and I was instead served Grease the Poles. I started with the Cucumber Salamander, which is a sour. It was a bit tart right from the start and that carried through to the finish, with a little extra pucker at the end. Up next was Backroads Shadows, a lager with a crisp, clean start before the malts came through on the finish. This felt like a really good easy drinking beer. Third was Daily Planet, an IPA that had citrus up front followed by a solid hop presence that carried through the finish. Last was Grease the Poles, a pale lager that started off very clean before finishing with some lighter hop notes. Out of the bunch, the Cucumber Salamander was definitely my favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our food and drinks were good, and I would be interested in trying more of their beers.

Looked like there was only 2 servers for the entire place which was busy. My husband liked his chili, so that's the two star review. He said it had a lot of flavor. I had the brisket sandwich which was very small for the price with not a lot of meat. The meat had no flavor at all. Was not served with the au ju, which I had to ask for. Unfortunately, the au ju did not make it any better. The Cole slaw had a good flavor and was not sweet, so that was the best part of the food.

Unfortunately, we discovered it's only on the lunch menu. Side bar: The menu on Google Maps did not mention there were separate lunch and dinner menus. I saw the Crab Stuffed Mushroom Caps were highly recommended, so we ordered them. They were good. Personally, I like my crab stuffing a little drier, but they were still flavorful. For my beer, I had the Juice Cleanse. I liked that a lot. Easy drinking and probably the healthiest thing with "juice cleanse" in the name I've had in years. The staff was excellent and looked like they were genuinely having fun working there. That energy matters. And of course, Jen was a hit as usual. It was a great spot for people watching, and spread out enough to have our meeting without bleeding into other tables conversations. We didn't have any drinks, but the guys were saying they aren't fans of the beer they serve. Probably not a good sign when part of your name is Taphouse & Brewery! The waitress was awesome and patient. Most of us had the NE Clam Chowder to start. It didn't disappoint! I may sound like a bacon hater, but I would have enjoyed the soup more if it had a little less bacon. Otherwise the soup was creamy and delicious with a decent amount of clam. The bacon just overpowered the other flavors. I also had the Prime Rib Sandwich - sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, fontina cheese, horseradish sauce. It was a good portion, delicious and held together well. The flavors were balanced, bread was fresh, meat was tender, and it had a welcoming horseradish kick. The rest of our crew had a mix of salads and sandwiches and there were thumbs up all around. The bathrooms and the entire restaurant were clean, spacious and inviting for a chain. Looking around at the other diners I would say Sedona's is a good spot for any occasion. Can't go wrong here for grub, but unfortunately I can't tell you if the booze experience would add a star or take one away :)

This particular day, it was quite busy and unfortunately, there were more children here than there were adults. I get it, there's not much to do out in these parts and for the parents, I'm sure the prospect of setting up a picnic and letting their kids run around the lawn is a big pro. However, it becomes a BIG con for me as a childless person just trying to enjoy myself when there's a cacophony of children screaming, babies being changed on the table in front of me, kids running around unattended, and just general chaos. I don't know how it became so normalized for breweries, where there's alcohol being consumed, to become playgrounds for small children but here we are. My recommendation would be to provide a "child-free" section. The place is absolutely enormous so it wouldn't be hard. Perhaps the "stable bar" area and the lawn in front of it could serve as this child free area. Or maybe there's specific days of the week or certain times of day children aren't allowed? Beyond this complaint, I was pleased to see the food truck menu way more expanded than the last time I was here. They even offer gluten free pizza now! It was pretty good too. I enjoyed the grapefruit seltzer which came canned and loved the mango seltzer slushie. My boyfriend liked his pilsner and hefeweizen, too. Service from one of the bartenders was curt and standoffish - she seemed extremely stressed to be pouring beer and rolled her eyes or scoffed at any request for a sample. Other bartenders were holding it down and keeping their cool though -- she could learn a thing or two from her coworkers.

The prices were also very reasonable with a few of the beers on special for $4. They have food with multiple options available. We tried their brisket dog which was delicious with a nice, slight kick of spice. The fries were nice and crisp, but could have used more seasoning in my opinion. There was a lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. It was a bit warm for my preference, but they had a large fan that I found a seat near, so that helped. There was live music which is always great. Not my preferred genre, but still nice for the overall ambience. Overall, I loved the vibe of this spot and I can't wait to go back in the fall when temperatures are cooler!
