Love the concept fresh responsibly sourced seafood. We got the crab and lobster melt and salmon salad as well as kids shrimp and fries. All our meals tasted fresh and well prepared. The portions were a little small specially the melt had very little crab and lobster. Outside of the portions it was an amazing meal and would love to go back again.

Great experience on my first visit. I was able to custom order grilled ahi fish tacos. You get two for $16.18. They were delicious and well worth it. Even came with a side of chips and salsa. Very friendly staff as well.

So full disclosure I've been to Slapfish many times and have always enjoyed their food. I am going to miss some of their old menu items. The lobster burger was amazing. Today we tried their new menu and sauces, I'm a big fan of sauces, and once had a waitress tell me "everyone loves a mouth full of sauce." Grinned and we all laughed it off. I tried their lobster roll, have had it before and it was great as usual. I'm kicking myself that I didn't try their tacos or shrimp burrito. I guess this means I have to go back. My wife tried the mahi-mahi bowl, and although she's really not a fish fan she really liked it. I tried it and thought it was really good too. She said it wasn't fishy at all, she ordered a flight of sauces in order to try them all. Her favorite was the slap sauce and the srirachi-lime sauce. Said she'd definitely come back and order again. We tried the fried cauliflower and it was just okay. We arrived a little late for lunch, the store was very clean and nice. And they were so fast we had our food in no time and out the door for one of the best quick lunches ever. The staff was awesome, super friendly, very helpful and didn't seem to mind all of our questions and had some great suggestions. We will be back to try the tacos and blackened shrimp burrito. Can't wait.

Everything is good here. Seafood sandwich/roll type of place. Will come back for the shrimp burrito tomorrow. Service is quick, faster than some other burrito places I know. Not that many people on a weds afternoon. Perfect place to drop by after hitting the slopes.

This was a really cool restaurant! There aren't a lot of restaurants that's offer a menu of quick seafood options. It's a really cool set up too. You can make your own entree by selecting a "protein" which is a variety of seafood options (and there is also chicken), then you can choose how you want it (bowl, sandwich, or tacos), and then you choose your sauce. There are also a variety of "prebuilt" options such as a lobster roll, poke bowl, and lobster and crab melt. I ended up getting a cod sandwich with "slap sauce". The sandwich as a whole was very light and refreshing. The cod was perfectly crispy on the outside and had a great texture on the inside, though to be honest there wasn't as much flavor as I'd hoped. Still overall a great sandwich that I'd be happy to order again if it wasn't for the price. However, the pricing of Slapfish is on the higher end. The cheapest option you're looking at is about $14, while it gets as high as $27 for a lobster roll. Just to feed myself and my toddler that I brought along, it was $30 total. I get why things are priced higher, they very clearly use real fish, crab, and lobster. I'm just not that much of a "seafoodie" for it to be worth it to me. They also have a selection of juices that you can choose from when getting a fountain drink. They were VERY good and added a nice refreshing touch to the sandwich. Lastly, the service provided was top notch, and while there they made sure to come by a few times to ask if everything was going well (much like your waiter would do at a typical sit down restaurant). Overall, if seafood is your thing, I really suggest you check this place out. I myself am tempted to come back and empty my wallet to try the lobster roll. If it's as good as it looks, it's got to be amazing

Flagship Fish & Chips ($16): some of the lightest, crispiest batter we've found in a long time! Sweated sweet peppers, too.

A snow-flurrying afternoon and Yelp event at the new Slapfish drew us toward trying the hot options in the seasonal Clam Chowder Tots ($6) and Flagship entrees Fish & Chips ($16) and griddled Epic Shrimp Burrito ($16). While we were comp'd one entree for the event, we bought the rest of food and beverages, so I'll also leave my praise here. The flavor and texture contrasts were generally a big hit: This was some of the lightest, crispest fried fish we've ever had, and were not oily nor overpowering to the cod flavor. The core of the new Fast-Casual-style menu allows you mix the seafood proteins, format and sauces however you like, yet they are still assembled (beautifully) in the kitchen just like the Flagship entrees and brought out to you. The tacos were the highest recommended choice from the friendly ladies at the front counter. They were ordered by several tables while we were there and all looked amazing. The "Buddha-style bowls" --rice, quinoa, mixed veg, avocado and fish protein-- also looked beautiful and I look forward to trying them. We were also happy to see real dishes and utensils here even with the soft drink beverage bar and paper napkins of a casual joint. The weak spots were that the cod was reasonably flaky but not as juicy as were it really fresh fish and not land-locked locale. Fries could've been hotter, crisper and chunkier yet were still pretty good. The first bites of the crisp blackened large shrimp on the burrito were amazing, but toward end the hot rice, beans, peppers, avocado, etc all homogenized together. So the chunky shrimp stopped standing out quite so well. The tacos probably are the better format texturally-- just like they recommended. Yet the plates were colorful, varied, and while not inexpensive for this grade of restaurant, we felt they were tasty and filling. We'll be back! Kudos for Slapfish five-years-in to this location that they are working over the menu to freshen it up in format and choices. Plus adding some seasonal choices while still keeping friendly people on staff who have been there for a few years. 4.5 stars!

Okay. Wow. I wanted this place to be amazing because with the new highway built it's just over a 15 min drive for us and I love some good seafood which is not easy to find in Utah. This place was so good. I got the fish and chips after seeing one come out in front of me. The fish was so flakey and melted in my mouth! The coleslaw was perfect. It was just purple cabbage and some sauce and had good flavor. We also got the truffle pa tots which were crispy and had really good truffle flavor that wasn't too overpowering. My husband got the salmon sandwich with herby chimichurri . It had just the right balance of everything on it! The salmon was very well cooked and he ate every last bite. We will def be back to try other "voyages"! Highly recommend if you want your seafood fix! Also very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.

First time at Slapfish did not disappoint! The restaurant was very clean, music wasn't too loud, and the AC was perfect on a hot afternoon. The build your own option means there are tons of choices and customizations available. I went with the salmon tacos and a side of sesame soy Brussels sprouts. The tacos were delicious with avocados, cabbage, veggies, and slap sauce. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The Brussels sprouts were also crisp and flavorful! The employees were also really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to try more options.

Poke & Chips (sub rice). Ahi is not fresh. Flavor is so-so.

Restaurant was clean for the most part. Could have used a wipe-down of seating on the booths. Staff is friendly but seems a bit new or perhaps ESL challenged. Not bad though. Very nice. Listed price for lobster roll was a full $10 less than the actual price. The manager explained it was wrong and the owner immediately showed up and changed it to read "MP". Understandable. Mistakes happen. However, it made me wonder how many people paid the actual price without noticing until it was too late. Now for the food. Despite some reviews saying it was very fresh, mine either was not or it was very low quality ahi. Photo actually makes it look better than it really did. Texture was quite firm for fresh fish and taste was so-so. I did not eat half. The ahi bowl was a nice combination of fresh ingredients, pretty good rice/quinoa combo, and some an average pre-frozen ahi. I asked for a flight of sauces (having never had any of them) which she told me was an option but was given 2 out of 5 on the side and one on my bowl, which happened to be the only one I was not very interested in (Greek yogurt ranch). All things considered my take-away is that it's another restaurant in a land-locked state trying to serve "fresh" seafood and fish and from what I have seen so far, this is NOT Utah's forte. I probably will not return but wish the owner and staff well as they seemed like nice people.

This is my 'bowl' of clam chowder.

I terminal cancer y had to drive 45 min to an infusion. I was excited to see a slapfish across the parking lot because I know I love clam chowder y could keep it down. After 4 hrs we stopped by y my husband bought me a bowl of clam chowder. I was soo sad y disappointed when we got home to less than half a bowl. I called to see if I could get a slapfish coupon of some sort to use. I was told no. Nothing could be done.

Fermando was very customer service and very kind I would highly recommend this place :)

I've had Slapfish in California and I can say that their food chain is consistent with the quality of every store I've been to. I got the lobster grinder with a side of chowder fries. The lobster grinder was really good- creamy and flavorful. The chowder fries were one of my favorites. I love clam chowder so that and fries as a combo is probably the best thing ever!! The fish and chips were great. Perfect crunch to the crust and the fish was delicious. You definitely can't go wrong with any of the items I've listed. I heard that the lobster grilled cheese was their best seller but I didn't have the chance to try it. Next time I'm in town, I'm getting it! Slapfish is located in a plaza with plenty of parking in front of a hotel. There's plenty of seating inside and outside of the restaurant. Tip: Try to not come during busy hours like close to lunch or dinner because the line to order was long and you can probably imagine the time waiting for your food.

I was very pleasantly surprised with Slapfish. I have always wanted to try it, but haven't until today. It reminded me of Vessel Kitchen, but I liked Slapfish a lot more. I got the Salmon bowl. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and so yummy! The value is great. There was plenty to share and I felt like the caliber was better then a lot of higher end restaurants that I've eaten at. The tater tots and cauliflower were good, just a bit greasy but they're deep fried so that's to be expected. The cauliflower we really enjoyed. The staff was awesome. I'll definitely be going back. I'd give it a solid 4.5

The ordering process was lengthy and a little chaotic. I asked to sub the spicy mango sauce (which sounded great) for whatever came with my bowl, the cashier said it already came with that sauce, and it actually didn't. However, relying on a sauce to season an entire bowl of food is questionable- in the end, season the food while cooking it. I ordered the Custom Protein Plate to include Al Pastor Shredded Chicken, Fresno Cauliflower, and Cilantro Lime Slaw. After waiting nearly an hour for my food to be ready to pick-up I was absolutely starving and stupidly didn't check the bag (which was sealed/stapled in a sturdy brown paper bag). Was very disappointed to see that I did not receive the pita bread and hummus side. I did receive just the plain pita strips that I also had ordered, and thank GOD I requested the Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce and Israeli Pico otherwise I would have had no spice or dipping for the bread and my meal. The Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce is spicy (but not too much so). It has the perfect kick that will definitely have me returning. The Israeli Pico was also fantastic and extremely fresh and flavorful. Both sides/sauces were so good that I honestly want to try them all eventually. The Al Pastor Shredded Chicken wasn't anything spectacular. It honestly tasted pretty much like any shredded chicken that you would receive at a Mexican restaurant. The Fresno Cauliflower was absolutely fantastic! Definitely could've used a larger portion size than what was included. The Cilantro Lime Slaw was also flavorful and very healthy/light on the abdomen. Only thing I will say is that it definitely didn't taste as good on day two so you might want to keep that in mind if you like to have leftovers such as myself. The pita strips were a bit disappointing. Almost rock hard and not very fresh though I will say they were all gone in the same evening as the seasoning is good and they aren't very large to begin with. Definitely do plan on returning but not quite sure when. I work a lot of long hours so I depend on takeout for most of my meals and I'm indifferent about a restaurant that couldn't get my order correct the FIRST time visiting (especially since I had already been warned; obviously it's a problem at this location). Vessel Kitchen definitely is a good, non guilty way of indulging without breaking the bank.

I chose the chicken parmigiana and found the marinara sauce to be a bit watery/bland in taste. My chicken was a bit dry so perhaps a bit overcooked. The alfredo that came with it was DELICIOUS, perfectly creamy. However...can I justify $30 for the plate ? No. My boyfriend's spicy sausage a la vodka pasta was delicious but again, the red sauce was lack luster for me. It's almost like it was lacking tomato paste and garlic ? The potato side was delicious and surprisingly large for the price ! The aioli that came with it was great in flavor as well. We finished our meal with a creme brulee. It was perfectly torched and the creme itself was delicious and perfectly chilled. The strawberry was a bit sour for my liking, especially for coming with an expensive dessert. Even in 90-degree-weather days, the coolness from the fountains splashing and numerous nearby trees and bushes make the experience very pleasant with even a slight breeze. The entrees are reasonably priced and very tempting, it's a challenge to choose what to eat. My suggestion? Give the wait staff an idea of your favorites and ask them to make a suggestion. Both times I've been here, I ordered what they suggested and it was amazing. The seafood, sauces and flavors are elegant and well executed. They have lots of options for seafood lovers and those who love it less. On my latest trip, I got the Prawn Scampi. The spaghettini noodles were cooked al dente, the butter garlic sauce was delicious, and when you combined them with a grape tomato, a part of the asparagus heart, and one of the prawns it was a taste symphony! A tip! Sometimes they have special where if you show them a ticket to a movie at the nearby Cinemark theater, they'll give you a free appetizer. I got the Seafood Chowder. It was rich, thick and savory with small chunks of scallops and fish with corn, onion, and bacon. Delicious!
